ok now I'm seeing the irony at play here - one can acknowledge how fucking poorly Donald Trump managed the pandemic while also acknowledging Joe Biden failed to even accurately count how many people have died from the pandemic on national television and that the variety of protests over Trump have done nothing to assuage the pandemic, unless you believe unfiltered paper masks actually impede the pandemic.

I've no fucking clue why I'm still giving this shit any time at all, but by your logic, one can essentially lay blame on every world leader aside from the leaders of maybe New Zealand and Sweden for their "horrifying incompetence" in the face of a deadly pandemic.

1. Masks help stop the transmission of the virus.
2. You can't get the virus if you have a mask on (and most do while protesting).

I don't give a fuck about the police, honestly. I just know that if law enforcement doesn't exist, there's no point in having laws. Just because some criminals happen to be black doesn't make anyone a racist. White people commit crimes too. Sure, they may not be joining gangs at a young age and offing each other in record numbers, but crimes are committed by all races and classes of society.

Regardless of whether or not you think the police are racist, their jobs are often difficult and dangerous, and they do have to deal with the worst people of society a lot of the time. That can adversely affect your view of the world, whether you want it to or not.
