SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

Duksin is free to keep the trademark, and although he has unblocked most of the previous VK groups he shut down, some are still shut down and it remains to be seen how VK will interpret the court's ruling, so. From what the lawyer says, SCP intends to build on this with further litigation. Looks promising that this will drag out for years.
I wouldn't be on any IP litigation in Russia resolving itself swiftly, efficiently, or even non-corruptly.
And I'm positive that the pre-rewrite article even says that she can't wear clothes because it hurts her skin, so it's not even like it's nudity-for-nudity's sake.
Remember when it was Christian fundies who freaked out like lunatics about stuff like this? Seriously this is about as sexual as a Hallmark greeting card.

Look, I'm convinced Dr. Clef was a sex pest, and is mostly being excommunicated now because he didn't understand what was meant to be the quiet part. But his works are really good at showing the tragedy of SCP.

Both the succubus girl and the pregnant lady give us no reason to think they're evil in the slightest, but because of their nature, they have to be contained. The cruelty of their containment is the closest they can get to having a normal life. They both ask a good question - What does a naturally corruptive creature do if it doesn't want to hurt anyone? What would you do if the only way to save the world was to do something unspeakable to an innocent? Compared to some similar counterparts (the adolescent cthulhu comes to mind, even though it's a fun read), these focus on the inherent misery of their situations.

You could make a character that fills the same role without the weird sex angle, but if you don't get those core ideas, it'll never be the same.

Update on the Cerastes "case". They decided that they needed a new thread, all to continue their squabbling over the "plagiarism" accusation. I think if it were anyone other than DrMagnus, or an admin, staff, highly active member, they wouldn't have bothered with this case. But apparently, that mixed with the leak from their staff chat, which requires attention NOW, despite it happening a while ago from the sounds of things. Is enough to make staff call for a non-permanent demotion, which seems like a censure more than anything else.

Let me take you back to the Roget disaster, where in an admin made two sock puppets to cold post two articles, calling it an experiment. He only got a month-long censure. That seems like a much worse case than whatever they're trying to pin on Cerastes. I believe this is because Roget, or now known as RJB_R, is friends with the admins and disciplinary staff. Not something that wasn't known before, staff showing favoritism and all, but still interestingly funny when compared to the ongoing shitfest.

Add this to the staff being hypocrites pile.

Frequent flier to this thread Communism Will Win/Scantron started his own SCP spinoff community late last month, not shockingly called The SCP Commune. Seems like he got tired after 2 years of lurking and asking to be let back in. Here’s its brief description:
This is an unofficial spin-off site of the SCP Foundation Wiki. The SCP Commune exists to showcase works from authors who prefer a different creative and social environment.
Call it gay commie hookers & blackjack. Either it is a communist version of SCP that will distribute all upvotes to all members equally, or it is a place for disgruntled authors to rightfully escape the shitty culture of the main community. Looks like it is made up current & ex-SCP people, including Rogret, noted above as “RJB_R”.

So far, they operate in only upvotes like theDonald.win effectively preventing malicious raids, made voting anonymous to avoid internal drama, and have logically put the rating module down at the end of the articles where it belongs unless you are a cult who is invested in social asspats before writing, so I will give them all that as vast improvements over SCP.

It only has a few members. Here are some choice testimonials:
“I joined here cause the wiki has recently been getting kinda unhealthy...”

“do my gay little computers make you mad? do they make you want to hurt me? (they/them 20yo internet human)”

“i'm here to join in on a nicer and smaller scp community!”

“Former administrator for the hierarchical establishment. Currently enby feminist anarchist.”

Almost every one lists their pronouns!

Wonder if SCP will be as hostile to it as they did all other spin-offs with raids and covert infiltration.

P.S. Rogret proudly displays his “news” blog here where he writes “news” in his area in FL that is not worth linking to. It’s basically a training bra for CNN/MSNBC/CBS. “orange man bad”, and the like. Going to be just as contentless as the MSM outlets if Trump leaves office. There is more actual journalism done here on this thread than in his blog.

I see now that the purge is complete, the purity spiral starts. So predictable.

That site is a sad cesspool of people who couldn't get into RPC after being banned from the SCP wiki, their sloppy thirds in a sense. Seriously, at least three of them have been permanently banned from the SCP wiki, one never having a chance to appeal. I doubt it will go very far before becoming a sick puppy that suffers until death because its owners won't put it down. They have an ex admin, but I think he's just clamoring for his former glory. Either way it's sad.

While I'm glad to see people leave the cesspool that is the Modern SCP Foundation for greener pastures, at the same time I have my doubts about the SCP Commune actually working out. Especially when it is lead by a less than stellar writer like Scrantron, for example, there is already an SCP that involves Markpiler

Of course he would write about Markiplier, he's hoping for that coveted notice from "senpai". That sentance made me want to kill myself.

Gonna ignore djkaktus' weird melodramatic indignance at being criticized for making cringey polemic articles where he passive-aggressively cries about people he doesn't like to point this out.

It sucks because I actually do think the dude is a decent writer; when he takes SCP shit seriously he churns out some really enjoyable entries, it's just he needs to go see a therapist instead of writing SCP where it's less about a cool interesting horror concept coming to life and more him showcasing how out of touch he is with the real world.

Lol furries can't write

Wait? djkaktus is a furry?
“The history of the SCP and the history of furry-ism are conjoined in a very real way.”
-djkaktus, KaktusKast

I used to have Kaktus Derangement Syndrome but after enough insight into him behind the curtain, it became clear that leaving him in his world was the most tragic thing. His mental stability outside of the fed narcissism on the site is going to reach suicidal levels.

@boobage afaik, it started getting weird when dr wondertainment was tricked by lolly(?), a lesbian clown and her girlfriend, another lesbian clown, into being trapped on some dead end world and they steal the dr wondertainment business. Then they show up in a bunch of stories saying edgy murderclowny shit. Idk if that’s still canon now, I havent read any in a while.

the dr Spanko thing was kind of cute at first. Alan Moore is a fav writer (Voice of the Fire), though I dont know how Alan Moore sounds compared to 2337. Does he say “cack“ a lot or something?

oh, yeah, I remember the scarlet king and the vaguely horrible prevention ritual.

scps are funny where it’s obvious the author wrote himself in as a badass researcher who saves everyone in all of his stories. Those are a special kind of awful Mary Sue.

DrClef and the Kondraki guy. They shat SCP a lot before the trannies took over.

The YouTube algorithm recommended this to me last night and I wasn't disappointed. This is the first SCP related thing I've looked at in a while. Pretty interesting and creative, I think. At first I assumed this would be a joke SCP because of the unofficial name of the SCP.
The House of Hapsburg, arguably most famous for being inbred as all hell, keeps their most deformed inbreds in special underground housing away from the public eye. They are cared for normally. They begin to become more and more depraved with each passing day (i.e. requesting dead bodies for food instead of regular food) and begin to breed amongst themselves. They have weird genetics that prevents them from being sterile (as super-inbreds tend to be) and they reproduce at higher rates than normal humans. They developed their own underground society of sorts and still operate underground. They are cannibals. Despite being inbred monstrosities they still have a surprising level of intelligence and can speak. They speak mostly German and Latin. They are unofficially called "The Aristocrats."

SCP-3288 is one of the few modern SCPs I really like, it's a real shame that its author got banned because of staff's BS.

@Witthel

I don't know anything about current SCP drama other than the SJWs have infected it like everything else. What did the author get banned for?
