With all this talk of the right rolling over again, personally I’m expecting a Biden win and expect the right to just seethe and take it for various reasons. Doesn’t matter how we got this bad, but we’ve crossed the line a long time ago and it’s too late do anything but try and survive at this point. It’s not doomposting to realize that. I’m with ConfederateIrishman on this, when it becomes clear that Biden has won for sure, I’m leaving this site and will continue to prepare as much as possible for everything a Biden win entails. I’d leave the country, but I don’t have the money and I don’t know any country that isn’t just as rotten as the US or some third world nightmare. And as for all of you, I’d advise you all to prepare as much as you can too. Win or lose for Trump, America is going to get bad for years after this.

But there will not be a similar event in Michigan, another state in which the Trump campaign is challenging the results.

“We’ve just determined that logistically it’s not something we’re going to be able to do,” Michigan House Oversight Committee Chairman Matt Hall (R) told the Detroit News.

“We were trying to get him to appear in person to testify. We couldn’t logistically make it work. I’ve asked him to submit his written testimony, and we’ll review it,” Hall said to the Detroit Free Press.

The Senate Oversight Committee has a hearing scheduled, but “The chairman has no plans for the Trump campaign to participate in those hearings,” a spokeswoman for Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey (R) told the paper.

House Speaker Lee Chatfield (R) and Shirkey met with Trump at the White House on November 20 and issued a joint statement afterwards claiming, “The Senate and House Oversight Committees are actively engaged in a thorough review of Michigan’s elections process and we have faith in the committee process to provide greater transparency and accountability to our citizens.”

Pretty sure Shirkey and Hall are onboard with the coup and have been for some time.

The interesting thing is that in PA the hearings took place in a hotel, not the legislature. That makes me think that the local GOP leadership were not supportive of them.

There's probably an analogous situation in MI. 97% of Trump voters apparently believe the election was rigged but the local GOP leadership is desperately trying to stop any hearings into it.

The only reasonable conclusion is that they are doing this because they're in on it.

The Euros are shoving blacks in where they don't belong. I started watching The Spanish Princess which made up a black "Moor" lady in waiting for Catherine of Aragon, who married Henry VIII of England. There's also a Muslim back soldier from Spain. The daughter of Isabella, the Christian monarch of the Reconquista, would never have brought a Muslim with her as part of her household since they all had been expelled in 1492 from Spain. Moors were not black Africans, they were Berbers from North Africa, specifically from present day Morocco and Algeria. Ironically Catherine did bring black Africans to England, the first probably since the Roman occupation but they were there as performers and curiosities, much like bringing a panda or African lion in a circus to 19th century US and not members of the Princess' entourage. Since it's a UK production I guess they can't depict a British royal as racist and a religious fundamentalist but it's jarring to watch, especially when they refer to the Spanish monarchs as Catholics when the schism between England and Rome has not yet occurred (and the Reformation was still in the future).

No one wants to revolt and probably die/be imprisoned for life when they have families to take care of and there's food and luxury everywhere. Fat people don't cause problems (outside of a few bitch fits in restaurants).

I don't even think anything would happen if they started taking people's guns, the Right's pushback will begin when life gets unreasonably hard compared to how it was a decade or so ago. Life is very easy compared to any time in human history right now; even with lockdowns, most people can get great tasting food at a decent price delivered to their door while they watch whatever they want on Netflix and not have to worry about their 3 of their 4 children probably dying if they catch the common cold. While American ideals are certainly worth fighting and dying for, no one wants to do it right now because all of us are privileged and spoiled and we've grown too attached to that life of comfort. Very few people are shitting outside and the ones that are probably wouldn't be alive if they lived the way they do a century ago.

But eventually, the government will grow so corrupt and unbearably incompetent that life is going to become awful, taxes will become unreasonably high without good reason (look at France's yellow vest stuff), restrictions will begin to infest our daily lives and the laws (laws that everyone knows the politicians that make them don't follow and even live in contempt of) will begin to exist purely to fuck over the average person for no reason. The double standard that we all just kind of deal with right now will become untenable going forward.

The final straw will not be an election, or gun control, or China, it'll be when the average human being living here who does nothing wrong is going to be sick and tired of being fucked in the ass and decides that at least dying to stop it would be a lot better than living under it.

Trump shit on her show for being hard on him which tanked it the same way him shitting on the entire network is tanking it now. When he won the election there was no path forward for her on the network, she was banking on him losing. At the time there was no way to move up her career and stay in conservative news since Fox was the big player so she embraced it and tried to move to NBC. NBC was enamored with the "reformed conservative" angle and took the bait, it bit them both in the ass. End of the day she's just another grifter who couldn't shift her narrative fast enough to stay relevant.
