The thread where you post your mildly unpopular opinions

The military neither benefits from being treated like an indoctrination camp, nor is an indoctrination camp a desirable thing in a free society, and Starship Troopers is a boring book for authoritarians to wank to.

"Serve to earn your citizenship" is a massively cuckolded idea.
Oh I am not sending them into combat. They can choose to do that after their compulsory service is complete.

I intend to teach them how to take care of their bodies, work together with people that are different than them, acquire practical skills and to overcome adversity. Only in the case of outright war would they be used in combat rolls.

For a few more negrates--

The state exists to protect rights, not to give them.
Depends where you live. For instance, in the United States the state is supposed to uphold the Constitution. And the Constitution is supposed to protect you from the state.

Very well, I ought to have said "should." In reality most states exist to extract wealth.

Still, this site is swimming with people who want a Daddy to rule over them.

Fig bars >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> goya wafer cookies.
Far less crumbly. What are you trying to do, make cookie versions of those protein bars or whatever that body builders eat?

The only really great Mel Brooks movies were Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles

Some of the rest were good, some were meh, and you're not missing out if you only saw the above two.

Don't get me wrong, most people never make *one* must-see movie, let alone two, but his films were not created equal.
I actually pissed laughing at Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

I'm begrudgingly getting used to the fact that having tattoos has become more common than not.

That said, I don't like arm or shoulder tattoos on women, even if they are done well. Face and neck tattoos are stupid on anyone not named Mike Tyson.
