Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

I decided to see if Chris Cantwell was doing any call ins to his libertarian buddy's show, and discovered this totally normal reaction to Georgia certifying Biden's victory over Trump.

Because Trump said so. That’s literally it. If Trump had told them to wear masks they would and would probably scream about you killing little old ladies if you pulled yours down to take a drink.
These are the same ppl who are against abortion because their pastors say so, and are all in for guns cause the NRA says so. Why would they start thinking now?

Is it really anything to do with Trump for most of these people though? I don't think it is. People don't like being told what to do (especially Americans) and for people not used to masks they are sweaty, irritating and make it hard to breathe (mostly claustrophobia but it can feel suffocating). They're pissed that they are being inconvenienced and it becomes a tangible symbol of how impatient and pissed the fuck off people are at the lineups and lockdowns, one that's literally in your face. I don't think they've become an autistic political debate that much outside of the US tbh. Most of these people, if Trump started going on about wearing masks, would probably just say lol fuck Trump.

If Trump had really wanted to play 4 dimensional chess he'd have told his followers to wear masks so that TDS sufferers would refuse to and they'd be the ones dying. If he'd told all his followers to do mail-in ballots, also, he'd have handily won.

I have over 100 GB of election data that I need to analysis. To catch the Bidencrats' massive, massive fraud, I need you send me £56 000 to buy most powerful computer known to man, the Apple Mac Pro. Hopefully a kind businessman who no longer need their machine could donate it to me, for the children's sake.

Even a crappy netbook from 2007 could handle a spreadsheet.

I'm starting to think Trump can't play 5,793,753 dimensional chess after all. I'm starting to think he's just been playing 2 dimensional checkers this whole time.

There's a large base of Trump supporters who would follow him off a cliff and if he said wear a mask so the libs will shut up and we can save the economy they definitely would have done it 100%.

I think the true number of John Smiths is a bit higher. That number isn't even 0.1% of all males in the US.Not even half of 0.1%.Although its possible that it only includes John Smith simple no other possible combinations John A. Smith or whatever.John Smith is just about the most generic name you can think of in the US so much so sometimes people are even incredulous that that is your name.

Only about 0.9% of Americans have the last name "Smith" and apparently John isn't even the most common boys name of the last 100 years (though it's a close second), James is. Now, maybe it's overtaken James in the last half century, but it hasn't been the most common for a long time either, so I'd be surprised if it was more than 5% of the male population. Those numbers seem reasonable to me.
