I'm thinking a communist uprising (probably led by Vaush) will be the cause of the fall of the Republic.

1) Leftists are allowed to use political violence. Combined with weakened police and general dislike for the police from everyone else, all those Trump voters may well consider false flagging Antifa by wearing their uniforms and flags. The adulation of the police as an institution is waning. Trump losing means the concept of Law and Order will be discredited by both sides. What good is Law and Order if it's used to prop up an unaccountable corrupt government?
2) Neo-Liberals, while unable to dump their Antifa thugs, will still ignore them in actual governance. It's why the Bernie bros felt so jilted and rioted in the first place. Even if Biden did crack down on them, he still needs them a few years later as his foot soldiers to fight off any kind of Right wing. Business Dems are like Bloomberg or Steyr, old rich, white people that cave to social justice. Armed security protects them sure, but Commies backstab as often as they breathe, so they can also feel the heat.
3) Most people can unify under the message that Hollywood are a bunch of pigs that hold billion dollar assets and "civil forfeiture" to pay for the massive welfare state can be justified. The optics of burning that trash heap will look like the October Revolution and get Silicon Valley to panic. Remember that the distance between Northern and Southern California is about 300 miles or a six hour drive (probably eight with heavy traffic). It won't take that long for that Hollywood hatred to shift towards them for the same basic reason: gibs.

Mind you I think these are bad things overall. At best, it'll be the Spanish Civil War (which anarchists love to masturbate to) and SJW incompetence will destroy such a revolution. At worst, the former Trump voters will be in charge as they have the largest block. Either way, identity politics will be the most useful rhetorical strategy and the upper middle class will be under the most threat during this time.

True that the SCOTUS can't literally force the legislators to send their electors to the college on the 14th, however it's also possible that if the SCOTUS calls the election results in the contested states irredeemably tainted, they might give those state legislators the official cover they might think they need in order to send GOP electors to the college. The SCOTUS could also just declare Trump the winner outright.

I'm not holding out hope for any of this, btw, but it is theoretically possible at least.

But that's the thing, PA and probably AZ today and Michigan tomorrow are all showing their hands. They aren't going to do anything, and the court cases can't make them. They can just come into session in January and say it's too late to do anything and they'll correct it for the next election.

The Supreme Court can find anything they want about the elections unlawful or unconstitutional, if the States don't want to do anything about it, the electors will still vote for who they want in two weeks. Unless massive evidence comes forward, and probably still no matter what, the Senate will sign off on it. The GOP will lose majority in January (cause fuck Romney), and with Executive and Legislative on the same path, they'll erase was much of the last 4 years as they can.

Yeah I'm going doomer. It was always a long shot, but I was hoping there would be a fight. This isn't it. With House gains, and how they are likely going to benefit massively from Trump's census, the GOP are shoving everything into the jaws of defeat. I'm not expecting removing illegals from representation is going to stand, even if Trump wins at the Supreme Court, Biden will have two years before the first election to undo it.

Not really.

1) People in rural communities don't want government "help", they want to be left alone. They don't need more gibs, they need to not have their blue collar jobs either regulated into collapse or shipped overseas.
(The only angle this makes sense from is gun control, and even then Trump is better than the opposition.)

2) R-voters did flip the switch on the GOP because they primaried the usual GOP establishment candidates for a wild card in the form of Trump.
The GOP weren't giving white blue collar workers what they wanted, so they found an outsider who would. Your statement would be applicable of the rural R-voters went with Kasich or Jeb, but they literally went with the most outsider candidate in the primaries.
The same cannot be said for the urban welfare queen vote, who had Biden's back through the primaries.

3) Rural states are not "declining". Rural states are urbanizing, and the urbanization is bringing statistic decline at the state level.

You could say that nogs in Flint are brainwashed into believing that Republicans will re-enslave them via the prison-industrial complex. Undrinkable tapwater and a garbage economy is totally worth it when you still have your gibs and the men in your life don't spend their entire young adulthood in jail, or something.
