Militant Vegans - MEAT IS MURDER, YOU BLOODMOUTHS

Even if "I'm not going to get a dog or a cat because they eat meat and that diet propagates meat consumption" is an OK you-do-you opinion to have I can't stand the idea of someone resenting an animal for being an animal.

And I don't mean, "I prefer cats to dogs because they fit my personality and lifestyle more" I mean the "I'm not gonna get a cat because they kill small birds and small animals for food and that's bad." OK what are they supposed to eat then? They can't be vegan. Theoretically a cat or dog could be vegetarian, but they would have to eat a LOT of eggs and dairy to supplement not getting protein from meat, which we know vegans don't like either. Animals don't think like we do - they don't understand why you don't want any animal to die for any reason. They need food and they have the instinct to kill their food. If I said, "I hate horses because they eat plants" that would sound equally as ridiculous.

Also, what do we do with carnivorous animals? If owning one or caring for stray ones is evil because you're propagating meat consumption and slaughter, and the animals themselves are bad because they kill other animals for food, should we kill all the carnivorous animals? Well no because that's killing an animal. But then what do we do to them if feeding them or allowing them to hunt is wrong?

If vegans can't handle cats being carnivores, then I support them not having cats since the alternative is that they make them sick and die from nutrient starvation due to vegan diets. But there's no point in resenting them. Keeping them inside eliminates them killing other animals (and keeps them alive longer). And what about other animals, like bears, wolves, snakes, and sharks? Why do they legit think it'd be better to cause an ecological disaster by causing the extinction of carnivores and omnivores worldwide?

We're talking about people who, in many cases, are willing to starve their pets and children to death by feeding them shitty vegan diets, like many people already pointed out in this thread, veganism is more of a cult than anything else. Sometimes i get the feeling most vegans would rather have all life forms going extinct and earth becoming just a barren rock floating in space, as long not a single living organism consumes meat ever again.

There are vegans that do think all carnivores should go extinct. Here’s some insanity for you.

Took me about five seconds to identify.the author. Yourofsky is a gift to everyone who has ever come across a twitter vegan, whether it's his gleefully wishing rape and murder upon people or the ecological disaster that was his 'liberation' of those mink, he is a spergy embarrassment and they should really stop quoting from his angry rants.

I think it's a combination of narcissism and the fact they emotionally can't handle the world not being what they want. An example:

That person needs a bullet to the brain. This is a person who’d be perfectly fine running Auschwitz 2.0 if you dressed it up in their verbiage.

Remember to listen to indigenous bugs and atone for your human privilege.
God I hate people who seem to treat humanity as some sort've terror from beyond the stars. We sprung up from other species and have co-existed or dealt with all lifeforms among us. Bugs are a serious problem when it comes to crops and have been since pre-history until more recent developments. Even then environmental problems like parasitic bugs or worse non-indigenous plants continue to pose a problem which needs solving.

Quite likely this person has never lived in the country and has never experienced how incredibly annoying, disgusting, and painful the presence of some bugs can be. Straight up need to shut their mouths.

It's almost as if eating meat is natural.

Well, personally I think it's a problem when wasps show up and want to build their nests right over our back door and refuse to share the yard with us. Or when a swarm of locusts appears and refuse to share the food people are growing with anyone else. Or when ants find their way into a home and into the pantry and ruin the food of the people who live there. But I guess we're not allowed to complain or do something about it because everything else > people.

Mind you I do agree we need pesticides that don't harm other animals higher up in the food chain, but don't tell me I'm supposed to put up with dangerous insects and arthropods. Because where I live, we have killer bees and bark scorpions.

They're logically right, there isn't actually any good excuse to eat meat for humans but oh well. I'm comfy and fine doing it anyway.

I'd rather just take the stance "you're right, but idc".

The stuff about cats is pretty fucked up though. I'd rather them just advocate genociding cats instead of bizarre drawn out dietary murders.

There is a really good excuse to eat meat, it's called avoiding Vitamin B12 deficiency which can lead to psychosis and dementia and absolutely explains the behavior of some vegans.
Sorry, bloodmouth. I haven't consumed meat in 6 years and I'm pretty sure I'm not demented.
