I took a break for a couple days off this thread and that really helped me. Honestly, there are way too many assumptions going on that’s mixed with conflicting news stories for me to be sure of what is happening sometimes. Deciding to not be as emotionally involved has helped me a lot. I know this is hard, but demoralizing yourself will only make you feel worse.

I miss the good old days when it was my country's political system that was the joke. The fact that at any given time on any given day someone in the Prime Minister's party could challenge for and take the party leadership (providing they had the numbers) which includes the top job lead to there being 5 changes of PM over a period of 8 years. It's now policy that paramedic workers can no longer ask patients who the current PM is because of how many changes there'd been. See it's fine when it happens here cause who gives a shit about Australia?

He doesn't necessarily have to drain the swamp and expose everyone. He just needs to find a way to keep his job, take it as you wish.
Yeah, I just want him to win. If he can expose some fraud, great, but expecting him to somehow get all these people arrested or even tied to it is expecting too much. And we all know people would support them if they were connected to it.

I've only read the Wiki summary of it, but that book sounds like the dumbest manifesto ever written, Numerous countries are turned into nuclear wastelands and the main character suicde bombs himself with a nuke. It's ironically probably the biggest discourager of Nazism I can think of if it was used seriously. Uncle Ted would be ashamed.
It's just dissident fantasy. Unrealistic, especially in the totalitarian panopticon we live in nowadays, but not much different than the numerous Jewish revenge fantasies pumped out by Hollywood. It's pretty tame stuff overall. The love story parts are lame, but I suppose the couple who slays together, stays together.

'We're going to kill 99% of the world's population and about 95% of the US population and that is a good thing'.
I think it was mostly trying to balance a narrative on how you'd handle a large, distributed insurgency against ones own nation that is being occupied by a hostile parasitic clique. It was written in like 1980ish, I think, when the alien population in America was comparatively small, so the number of people required to be exiled/killed for their ends - the reclamation of and ensuring security of their homeland - would not have been anywhere near 95%. Just removal of: jews, blacks, mexicans, traitors, and journalists. So... like now 50-60%. Only! And here's why that's a good thing

No matter ideological bent, I think we can all at least agree about their focus on journalists. The parts where they're rampaging through newspaper offices or TV stations are the most heartening parts of the novel.

There's a reason why I'm learning how to sail the high seas for older media

Catty and overly-wordy without making any salient point? Why yes, I am a leftist and a buttplug-enthusiast.

Oh, he's Wapo and Project Lincoln. That has to be the dumbest combination in all of the media.

Apparently Trump retweeted some dude named CatTurd. First Styx and now this. When will Razorfist or PJW or Nick Fuentes get their turn?
Once he starts retweeting Battle Beagle then we knows its truly on.

I come back to this thread after two days and almost all of you are still crying about roadblocks diverting us to the supreme court.
It's almost like this was inevitable regardless of what happened with those cases and this outcome was called weeks ago.

Literally nothing matters until then unless you like keeping track of who to tar and feather in your personal boogie woogie fan fictions which will all totally happen.
Calm down.

This is going very off-topic, but the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stood for almost a century in an extremely volatile part of the world. If a dictatorship is pragmatic enough to offer a decent standard of living to most of its citizens and looks better than the alternatives (which in the middle east are civil war and utter chaos), it can survive indefinitely. That doesn't mean I think the CCP will necessarily rule for 1000 years, and I certainly don't think a hypothetical American uniparty could offer enough stability to do so, but there's no strict rule preventing their survival. The main obstacles to this happening are the fact that the Supreme Court and possibly the Senate depending on the Georgia races will be against Biden, so he will be completely stymied and will appear ineffective.

If by "decent standard of living to most of its citizens" you only mean the minority of the population that actually are citizens and not its vast underclass of imported labourers who have their passports taken from them on arrival and are literally traded on mobile phone app auction sites, if you mean the portion of the citizenship that are male and can go out without a male relative or their husband's consent, if you ignore regions that are populous but don't actually qualify for citizenship rights like Yemen, if you ignore people who are locked up for being political opponents of the rulers (including their own family members) then sure... works for most.

And keep in mind they remain in power because of the diplomatic and military support of a much more powerful nation (USA). It's not like its easy to revolt when the USA backs your rulers up against you. The situation of a dictatorship in the USA would be markedly different. Who is the outside supporter going to be. Would there be Chinese or European troops on the ground in the USA?

I'm starting to get the feeling despite the mounting evidence of voter fraud and the majority knowing he's as illegitimate as one of his grand kids Biden will still be sworn in in January. Just seems like America is like Artax in the Neverending Story sinking deeper and deeper into that swamp. What happens after that though? I think that's the real question now.
Artax comes back, we all kick the crap out of the Nothing and save reality.

Also, there are laser-shooting sphinxes with giant breasts.

Any predictions on how it will go?

I haven't watched the whole PA hearing but the AZ one had some very persuasive data science stuff.

Will it do the job and flip the legislature? That depends on whether the MI GOP legislators can overthrow their treacherous leadership.
