Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

@Analog Devolved I made it slightly more autistic and better.

The ORANGE KOALA doesn't know when to stop and realize him striking the 3 channels at the same time basically signed the end of his career in #COMICSGATE and possibly Indy Comics. When I woke up this morning I was shown these lovely tweets. He doesn't understand at all, he is in the wrong. What does everyone here think about them?

I have never seen 1 person who nobody really cares about have his "ROUTER HACKED" this many times. With the way he says the "POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING" these hacks, they might have to form their own division for LIAM GRAY HACKINGS.

January is right around the corner and as admitted yesterday on Live w/ LEEDLE #1 the colors are done but are still being touched up. 2 days before this, Leedle & Liam both stated clearly the color version is at the printer. I honestly believe he is making the excuses above because he is not going to be able to fulfill on time. He is trying to destroy these type rumors by showing a copy of the "SILVER EDITION" of XENOTYPE while forgetting he has gone on record and said the "GOLD EDITION/PLATINUM EDITION" will be sent out before the B&W.

Lets hope he doesn't screw over people and be the official next Cridious.

"Nasser has been known and shown to perform some nasty behavior" = SJW speak for "I'm not gonna show proof and just accuse him and slander him"

Leedle doesn't understand the difference between "threatened to strike channels" and her boss who actually has STRUCK CHANNELS.

She doesn't understand praising WC now is not something to advertise. They are the joke of #COMICSGATE now.

Leedle doesn't understand it yet, but it's going to hurt her career to attach herself to a guy like Liam Gray. He's radioactive now and taints all who are near him.

When I first created a Twitter account, Leedle was one of the first people I started following because I liked her work and saw she was open for commissions and planned to possibly commissioner her for work one day. Not anymore I'm not. If I have no plans to work with her anymore, I'm sure others do too.

She's going to hurt her career whether she understands it or not, Micah Curtis too. They are both going to be on the wrong side of history with this one.

Nobody likes woke, cancel culture SJWs.

I forgot Micah even existed.

Sometimes--not often, but sometimes--it's as if Patsy Zircher almost gets it:

But after seeing DC's YA shit this week, it's safe to say it wouldn't matter anyway.

It's the chicken & the egg: do younger audiences prefer manga/YA because Marvel & DC chased them away by publishing crap, or do Marvel & DC publish crap because that's what they think the manga/YA audience likes?

My 2 cents--I think the classic "superhero style"--which is quintessentially American--is less popular because younger readers have been indoctrinated to hate all things American, & the predominant culture pushes foreigners & faggotry as aspirational.

My hero academia and one punch man disagree. Fewer people read. But those that do, read manga more.

Superheroes have an audience and young people love them. They just don't like the way the West does them. Take away Scholastic/libraries and the YA shit doesn't sell well enough to be alongside manga.

It's not a young or old thing, people just want good stories that aren't off-putting. People don't want to read shit like Starfire's daughter. That's what people associate American comics with.

i believe that Marvel and DC have lost touch with the youth culture. Whereas, in the past they pretty much had their finger on the pulse of it, especially in the 80’s and 90’s. Nowadays, you either have old boomers and gen Xers trying to write for the Gen Z crowd or you have weird outcast millennials and gen Z’s that never really connected with their peers with a chip on their shoulders. Both groups are failing miserably at writing good comics and this is why manga has taken over the comics industry the way it has.

This is partially related to what I wrote in comics book sperging thread, but we have lots of people who grew up with, for example, Silver Age (or Bronze Age or 90s) characters and think that this is how this shit is supposed to be. For example, should Superman and Lois be married? We have lots of people who claim that if they are not married then it is not real Superman. Yet character was fine for 50 years before the marriage. Was Superman broken back then? One could probably even make an argument that Superman's stagnation started at around the same time as marriage, but there is obviously more to it. Either way new fan doesn't give a shit if Superman is married or not, but 60 years old fat faggot writing him has very strong opinions about it and he'll make sure that you hear about them.

You know what happened when DC thought that Alan and Jay ain't working? They created Hal and Barry and changed the entire concept of what Green Lantern and Flash are supposed to be. Decades passed and we got bunch of new Lanterns and Speedsters, but for the most part they are all still operating under the same Silver Age premise.

except, the silver age rebrandings were cool and accepted by the fans. The difference with the rebrandings of today and back then is that today the changes are aimed at a demographic that doesn’t read comics, but will praise the changes while driving away their core audience that has been with them for decades.
