I was curious about that too, so I looked it up and apparently Ellen Page is not officially involved with TLoU in any way, they simply used her likeness.
However, I did find out about this trans man character named Lev, so I assume the franchise was kinda doomed to begin with.

If she does change her mind, she will have to fade into oblivion. It won’t matter what activism she has done or who loves her now, if she detransitions she will be canceled and receive never ending death threats from the cult.

That's a good point. I don't follow Ellen Page so I don't know how active she is in acting at the moment. But how would they hire her as an actor now? Playing a female role would probably be out, playing a male character probably wouldn't work since she still looks fairly feminine. Not a lot of FTM characters.

At the speed in which people are erasing or adjusting her name, it really does make me wonder if something fishy is going on that she needed a minor identity change. I don't care enough to dwell further but I hate how lesbians/bi women and androgynous women keep getting erased.

I thought Ellen was a full on lesbian. Not a tranny. Must suck though because she's going to be a 5 foot "man". Has she recieved backlash now for her role in that show? Or are they going to make her character "transition" off-screen?

But then she also says she's "non-binary"? Which is such a contradictory label. Everyone is "technically" non-binary because no one acts or has entirely "masculine" or "feminine" traits. And I don't know how she can be a "man" but also be "non-binary". Ironically, all these people who say they're such usually just end up dressing and presenting themselves as the opposite sex. If they're a woman, they just present themselves as more masculine, and if they're a man, more feminine. So what's the point?

It's almost like they're all truly mentally ill and need help, not attention whoring on social media.
