I totally agree. He's also particularly vindictive by nature. Just look at how he has always been able to litigate his way out of problems or burden his opponents with lawsuits to the point that they give up. (I'm talking about through his life in business, not the Presidency.) He has always had the money to ensure it generally works out for him in one way or another. That's his frame of mind. I'm Donald J Trump. I never lose.

This time he's not so lucky. His lawsuits are being thrown out of court and his friendly media outlets have turned against him. I note his emphasis on mentioning that he has had the biggest turnout for a sitting US President. He has said it multiple times since the election. While it is true, it at least gives him a 'win' in his mind. I think he's offended by the fact this time more supporters turned out for the opponent and they actually managed to win the electoral college.

He's insulted and it's now all personal to him. He's going to try his best to burn it all down or cause as much chaos as is legally permissible on his way out the door.
