A couple in Hawaii face reckless endangerment charges after they boarded a flight with their 4-year-old son even though they had tested positive for Covid-19, police said.
The couple, Wesley Moribe and Courtney Peterson, knew they had tested positive when they boarded a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Lihue, Coco Zickos, a spokeswoman for Kauai police, said Wednesday. San Francisco International Airport officials had instructed them to isolate and not to travel, Zickos said.

When Moribe and Peterson arrived at Lihue Airport, they were escorted by police to an isolation room for further processing and investigation.
Moribe, 41, and Peterson, 46, residents of Wailua, were arrested on second-degree reckless endangerment charges. A family member took their son home, and Child Protective Services was notified, Zickos said.
"They knowingly boarded a flight aware of their positive COVID-19 test results, placing the passengers of the flight in danger of death," Zickos said in a statement.
A spokesman for the Hawaii Covid-19 Joint Information Center said Wednesday that the state Health Department is alerted when someone tests positive and that the couple were aware of their diagnosis before they boarded the flight in San Francisco.
"Rather than quarantining and contacting their health provider, they went on the plane," the spokesman said.
There were 17,968 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Hawaii as of Sunday, with 244 deaths, according to state health data.

Do you have any idea how many new species of virus mutate into existence every year?
Should we treat every single one like this, or just covid specifically? Why just covid specifically?

New types, or new strains? Because there's a major difference. No shit, the common cold has a new strain every year, but we still understand how it functions, spreads and how to create a vaccine for it. We don't have that information for covid yet.

Tbf, one of our "medical professionals" turned out to be a fucking moron himself.
Educate yourself enough to never have to trust anyone else's opinion ever again.

Covid is literally just one of those new strains. Cold viruses are corona viruses.
There is literally not a single unique or special thing about this virus.
So why is it unique and special?

So why do we not have any vaccines or treatment plans for it?
I could ask you the same question, what makes this virus so mundane?

So is it okay if I fuck you in the ass with my AIDS dick if I use a condom? Because condoms are perfect, right?
How much disease can a dick have before i'm not allowed to fuck you with it?
We seem to both agree AIDS is past the line.
Is a slight cough past the line?
Is your mother having typhoid 30 years ago past the line?

Where's the line, and why is it there?

So why do we not have any vaccines or treatment plans for it?

Mundanity is the null hypothesis in absence of any reason to think it's special.
There is no vaccine for almost any corona virus. There is no vaccine for almost any strain of the common cold, usually because a new strain pops out every year.
There probably never will be a vaccine for corona. It's not just going to go extinct because we go inside for a few months. It's not going away any more than other cold viruses are.

No they aren't you weirdo, common cold are rhinoviruses (and for that matter a number of other common viruses). They don't even fucking look like a coronavirus. They're not remotely similar. What the fuck is wrong with you?
Where's the line, and why is it there?
The line is what you get put in to get shot and you don't need to understand it, since it's obvious you can't.

Idk.
I didn't give a shit about other people, just like they didn't give a shit about others before covid, I'm not gonna start now just to make them feel safe personally.

Oh, yeah, don't get the wrong idea, I'm pretty sure everyone in this thread hates people.
It's just the concerns about what this virus could do or become.
I saw someone say something about how words can be stuffed into people's mouths just because they have a certain outlook. Like you can say you support the great reset just because you're cautious about the virus, or something, when that isn't what you're saying at all. At the end of the day, this is a new, foreign threat that came out of nowhere that we need to guard ourselves against as an entire species. It would be foolish to assume the least of it.

Except we know how to make vaccines for the yearly common cold. We don't know how to make a vaccine for corona, or at least efforts are in their infancy right now.

Echoing AnOminous, what is wrong with you?

Coronaviruses are a group of related RNA viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans and birds, they cause respiratory tract infections that can range from mild to lethal. Mild illnesses in humans include some cases of the common cold (which is also caused by other viruses, predominantly rhinoviruses), while more lethal varieties can cause SARS, MERS, and COVID-19. In cows and pigs they cause diarrhea, while in mice they cause hepatitis and encephalomyelitis. Generally, there were no vaccines or antiviral drugs available for use against coronaviruses until the COVID-19 pandemic which broke out in late 2019.

AFAIK rhinovirus is defined by what it infects, the sinuses. A coronavirus is defined by its physical shape, the protective corona on its physical structure.

No one cares what you're saying or what you think. As King Solomon said, words are wind, vanity vanity. What you do is what matters, and what you're doing is supporting the great reset.

Do you want to read what you just pasted? Because it contradicts what you're saying.

They're adorable.

What you do is what matters, and what you're doing is supporting the great reset.

See, you remind me of my ex. When I told her I respected Alan Turing, she, as an anti-SJW, immediately went "oh, what are you, some kind of LGTBQ supporter?"
Mind you, my respect to Alan and his work had absolutely no reflection on his homosexuality. I respected him as a man who forwarded science and brought humanity a decade into the future at least. But to those with a politics-only mindset, that is irrelevant. Science is irrelevant. The only thing that is relevant is the atrocities anyone has committed to a person's philosophical specimen and any patterns that can be attributed to it.
I am not supporting the great reset by taking a virus seriously. I'm just as much supporting the great reset by taking a virus seriously as I am rebelling against the Omnissiah by not dousing my can opener in holy water when I operate it. Politics and conspiracy do not matter here. What matters is that we have encountered a new virus that spreads fast and has no vaccine and that we need to revere with at least a degree of seriousness or else we might risk the survival of our entire species. I don't know about you, but I don't feel like risking my entire race on a whim. I honestly always thought the sanitary measures in western society was sorely lacking, it's one thing I respect the Japanese for. Wearing masks in their culture was common and acceptable. And now it is in our culture as well. It's as if we've socially evolved or something, like figuring out rats don't spontaneously spawn within hay bales (that's something people actually used to believe in, by the way).

lol this thread.

So in short, no sane airline will allow you to board with a known virus thingie that is super easy to spread, not because you are a hazard but a huge liability to the airline itself. As previously mentioned, if someone gets infected with the corona, it can easily sue the airline for not enforcing better sanitary conditions, similar to why they let you know if someone on board suffers from nuts allergy and ask you very kindly to NOT eat peanuts on your flight. "B-but peanuts are harmless to most population and they are actually a healthy snack and shit", yes but someone might die from it and if that happens it's our ass on the line not yours, so shut the fuck up or get off my plane and start walking.

Believe what you want about the wee virus thingie, the whole problem always boils down to the same thing: If others get fucked because of your own dumbass, you are at fault.

You are some kind of fucking weirdo. Who would care about a man's contributions to science when obviously the most important thing he ever did was ram his erect cock into the asshole of a younger male?

People and their actions are package deals. There is some virtue in the notion that supporting someone in one way is supporting them in all ways, but that's not what I'm getting at.
I am not supporting the great reset by taking a virus seriously.
"a virus"
"a"
You are using an indefinite article, when you should be using a demonstrative pronoun.
"this"
You are taking this virus seriously.

I see where you're coming from but there's being cautious and then theres doing what we are doing globally at the moment which is destroying ourselves, economically which will inadvertently hurt us more in the long run.

But i digress, in regards to the article the airport was dumb to even let them enter the building, the people were dumb to not get a check up beforehand.
