Regarding the apparent and imminent repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and the future of this website.

Rules like this do always benefit the big guys

Section 230 is part of the communications decency act. Aka a rule.
People talking about this as if he's repealing a section of the constitution or making a new law are just showing ignorance.
It benefits the big companies because:
a) they're fucking loaded
b) they've been doing this long before Trump's crybaby antics, though that's kind of what started this whole thing to begin with, so it's basically just an ouroburos-style situation here.

What it doesn't benefit are sites like this. We're getting bombarded with lawsuits out the ass, including one from Capcom and dozens by troons, goons and other retards who don't know when to shut the fuck up. If s230 goes down, Null's explicitly said he won't be able to handle any of this, which is why he's shutting it all down if Trump get his way. Because regardless what the other Republicans say, he's still president, and he'll try to find a way regardless. but of course you youldn't know this unless Trump came up to your face and said it himself.

I have no idea what you are talking about, does someone here speak retard who can translate what he is saying?
I'm an expert in retardinese. Here is a rough translation.

"I'm a stupid nigger and need to get banned so I can make my 30th sock.
I'm a stupid nigger and need to get banned so I can make my 30th sock.
I'm a stupid nigger and need to get banned so I can make my 30th sock.
I'm a stupid nigger and need to get banned so I can make my 30th sock.
I'm a stupid nigger and need to get banned so I can make my 30th sock.
I'm a stupid nigger and need to get banned so I can make my 30th sock."

Did you not read the OP? Null is the only one with a say. You can make your own refuge site if you want, but lawsuits will be constant if they actually get this shit repealled because it would be easy money.
It wouldn't be easy money, because lawsuits are expensive for both parties. Without 230, the operator is personally liable for civil infractions made as a result of content posted to the service he runs as opposed to the person who posted it. That's the real threat - the tremendous drain on resources because of the need to address all the incoming lawsuits as opposed to unilaterally throwing them out on grounds of immunity as granted by 230. This is for all American telecommunications networks, mind you, not just the Internet.

The law itself is short and accessible and it's worth a read: http://www.columbia.edu/~mr2651/ecommerce3/2nd/statutes/CommunicationsDecencyAct.pdf

Well fuck... Guess it's time to get my doomposting out of the way.

I haven't been here as long as some of you old timers, but I've enjoyed my time here. The Farms really feels/felt like the last guard of what the internet used to be like, really the only site aside from one or two others I spent lesuire time on. Gonna miss it when it's gone, as well as some of the users.

Gentlemen, gentlemen pretending to be women, troons, faggots, niggers and anyone else I've forgotten, it's been an honor.

It's hilarious to see the mask fall on all you disaffected smug assholes. Too cool to care about anything except the site where you strut around acting too cool to care.

All the shitty concern trolling about mean internet words and the bad people that say them, lol, now you're all "but I need to be able to shout muh racial slurs!".

And you can't stop going for the bait because you were the real autists all along.

Calm your tits, nool needs the asspats and a steady diet of troons to feed. What's he gonna do, get a job? Who will affirm how great he is then?
Here is a list of racial slurs organized alphabetically and by country. I was going to call you all of them, but honestly it's funnier to just link to an official article on Wikipedia.

Remember back when the internet was like this place where you can do anything?
Now it's just limited to just a few websites, and thanks to this bullshit, it might be limited even more in the next 10 years.
Thanks, Twitter, for ruining the entire internet. I'll be happy to dance on its grave when it finally dies.
Where will the kiwi refugees go if this happens?
If this website goes, don't worry. I'll be more than happy to pick up the mantle in any way I see fit.
