Also, without sounding like a prick, Dylann went into full nut-job territory specifically over the likes of
what happened in Rotherham and reading all about that. He was racist and nuts before that, but the likes of Stormfront stirred up his crazy and then reading about Rotherham made him go pants-on-head. There were warning signs that he was going to do something like this, but nobody close to him did anything about it.
Which is horrifying.
The Rotherham factor in this also nicely encapsulates just how ignorant he and his fellow white supremacists were. Those were
Pakistanis that committed the barrage of rapes, not Blacks. That racist sites would openly obfuscate this is no surprise, that they'd latch onto it like no one's business is, likewise, also no one's surprise.
But it remains truly
terrifying just how much damage that incident managed to do indirectly, just via a combination of horrible people using Social Justice tactics and a government willing to abdicate its responsibilities.
