There are a few things here that don't pass the smell test for me.
Vickers, in his "eulogy" said Ralph kept Faith from accessing the internet, and hid the letters and gifts they'd sent her. But wasn't the burner phone sent with a letter to her? Did Ralph not start keeping things from her until after they'd sent the phone? Why give her the phone but not whatever other trinkets they may have sent?
If the leaks are real, in them she mentions getting on skype. Wouldn't that mean she had access to the internet? She apparently went to the MAGA march with Ralph, but stayed in the hotel all day. There is pretty much no way a 19 girl from the burbs sat alone in a hotel all day with no internet access.

It just seems odd that he'd give her a phone, a way to escape the relationship, but withheld other letters they'd sent.
