Women tend to be passive-aggressive and are less likely to be confrontational, especially with a significant other. If you couple the natural willingness of a woman to be that way with the fact that Faith is nineteen, pregnant (both of which can lead to hormonal episodes) and has significant self-esteem and self-image issues as well as the fact Ralph has cut her off from any other support framework she'd have (like a "good" abuser does normally) you have a recipe for a woman who is scared for her future and that of the unborn child. She doesn't want to be part of this (because no one in their right mind finds Pantsu attractive) probably because of her upbringing (monogamy) and she's not interested in women, so she did what she could to lessen the impact while not pissing Ralph off too much. She's seen how he is sober, she's seen how it's ramped up when he's drunk. She knows what's coming. Yes, she's with her parents now, but there is still the fact she's worried about what Ralph could do to her.
