Texas argues that these states violated the Electors Clause of the Constitution because they made changes to voting rules and procedures through the courts or through executive actions, but not through the state legislatures. Additionally, Texas argues that there were differences in voting rules and procedures in different counties within the states, violating the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. Finally, Texas argues that there were “voting irregularities” in these states as a result of the above.
Texas is asking the Supreme Court to order the states to allow their legislatures to appoint their electors. The lawsuit says:
Texas approached the Supreme Court directly because Article III provides that it is the court of first impression on subjects where it has original jurisdiction, such as disputes between two or more states."
Hail Mary play, but at least Texas will not go gentle into that good night.

This is the same constitutional argument that most people who have talked about it have said is the strongest play. It's interesting to see an entire state call out the other states, but it makes sense.
At this point, the Republican Party can live or die, this is either their revival or death knell. The ball is in their court.

That's because, despite what the Iranian streetshitter says, the SCOTUS has first (and only, if they take it and rule on it their say is final) crack at any case where the Federal Government is suing a state, a private individual who is resident in another state is suing a state, or when states sue each other.
Then they can just object on the other end when Congress meets in joint session to certify the results.

In my opinion Trump legitimately won Nevada. Problem is that when you're in the state that has Las Vegas, a town founded by gangsters, in it, corruption is a certainty.
"State legislature" means the state-level equivalent of the House and Senate voting. The governor would be the state executive.
The legislatures in all those contested states are majority Republican. In theory they should pick Republican electors for Trump. Some of them have gestured that way
