It's really heating up over there. Good luck America. Try not to have a second civil war if you can.

Which really begs the question, how has no one linked to this with the South Rising Again?Yep. Pretty much the entire South is and adding all the states that are suspected of fraud into it, not just PA.
PA has responded to the Texas lawsuit with the laches argument. “Nobody complained about it before.”
“The state of Pennsylvania has replied to the Texas lawsuit, arguing that it doesn't actually address Act 77 - a 2019 statute which allows voters to cast mail-in ballots for any reason.
Pennsylvania also argues that Texas doesn't articulate how 'massive disenfranchisement' of voters by tossing out the results of the election 'would accord with the Due Process Clause, which requires the counting of votes cast in reasonable reliance on existing election rules,' and that the case at hand wouldn't result in a 'circuit split' - when two or more different circuit courts of appeals might rule differently on the same legal issue (and is one of the factors the Supreme Court uses when deciding to take cases).
PA is also arguing that Texas, or anyone, has had since 2019 to object to Act 77, which violates the 'doctrine of laches.'“
The sort of air tight excuse you expect from the same lawyers who argued the travel ban in 2017 was somehow unconstitutionalPA is also arguing that Texas, or anyone, has had since 2019 to object to Act 77, which violates the 'doctrine of laches.'“
In another time, they would have had pitchforks and torches.I didn't see this.

Jocelyn Benson: Armed protesters flock to Michigan official's home
The state's attorney general called the incident "disturbing behaviour masquerading as protest".www.bbc.com
Man oh mally, the monkey paw wish just keeps getting better and better. Realize that if these states feel they were cheated out of representation hard enough, and the supreme court also shoots down this lawsuit, pushes for leaving the union are going to follow and this time around VERY LIKELY have enough support to succeed?https://twitter.com/scottseesall/status/1336440859223617537

Texas should be given that little strip of Oklahoma so that it has a border with Kansas in recognition of being awesome.
Whoever leaves the Union first is in the wrong.Man oh mally, the monkey paw wish just keeps getting better and better. Realize that if these states feel they were cheated out of representation hard enough, and the supreme court also shoots down this lawsuit, pushes for leaving the union are going to follow and this time around VERY LIKELY have enough support to succeed?
Pre 2015 people would have laughed at us for even considering Donald Trump as president, the possibility that his presidency ends with the country split in two? The frog jumps once again, the Chans get one more laugh out of their greatest gayop of all time.
It's actually a violation of US Flag Code, which, while not a crime, the small handful of people who actually know the flag code (read: veterans) tend to look down upon it.Also it's not like americans didn't already have egos the size of the solar system anyway. Have you ever seen any other nationality actually literally dress in nothing but their own flag? As in have every single piece of attire stamped with that shit.
Shit's wild-- if this goes anywhere, Civil War 2 is going to be a battle of lawyers.Texas case is docketed in the SC, a bunch of other states are joining it. It's probably going to end up as all Republican held states vs all Democrat held states.
That's great news because this has a greater chance of changing. I don't think Pennsylvania has any argument other than Laches and they're probably going use it repeatedly. I mean how can you explain off voter fraud?Yep. Pretty much the entire South is and adding all the states that are suspected of fraud into it, not just PA.
Isn't this moot because SCOTUS has original jurisdiction over the case?and that the case at hand wouldn't result in a 'circuit split' - when two or more different circuit courts of appeals might rule differently on the same legal issue (and is one of the factors the Supreme Court uses when deciding to take cases).
It doesn’t matter. Often these cases end up like trying to write a five page essay with three pages of irrelevant noise. They throw everything at the wall even if it ends up only about one or two issues.Isn't this moot because SCOTUS has original jurisdiction over the case?
They're gonna get killed if laches is the best they've gotThat's great news because this has a greater chance of changing. I don't think Pennsylvania has any argument other than Laches and they're probably going use it repeatedly. I mean how can you explain off voter fraud?
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU FUCKING MONGS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THE FIRST THING ABOUT LEGAL PROCEEDINGS NEED TO BE TOLD THIS.
YOU CAN'T JUST ADD EVIDENCE IN AN APPEAL YOU FUCKING RETARD.
Who said anything about the SCOTUS handling it as an appellate case?
And before you whine about it, double jeopardy will not be considered because the 5A refers to individuals, not states.
I'm no legal expert and I could be missing something. Feel free to dunk on me if I'm wrong but please explain why.
TWO DAYS LATERNo, retard. You are either incapable of articulating the situations in which the Supreme Court can have original jurisdiction- which is restricted to things like treaties with foreign powers- or, you are aware that they don't include the ridiculous situations you propose, and you are simply being dishonest by refusing to articulate them because they would prove that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Texas Sues Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin at Supreme Court over Election Rules
Texas filed a lawsuit directly with the U.S. Supreme Court before midnight on Monday challenging election results in four other states.www.breitbart.com
"The State of Texas filed a lawsuit directly with the U.S. Supreme Court shortly before midnight on Monday challenging the election procedures in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin on the grounds that they violate the Constitution.
Texas argues that these states violated the Electors Clause of the Constitution because they made changes to voting rules and procedures through the courts or through executive actions, but not through the state legislatures. Additionally, Texas argues that there were differences in voting rules and procedures in different counties within the states, violating the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. Finally, Texas argues that there were “voting irregularities” in these states as a result of the above.
Texas is asking the Supreme Court to order the states to allow their legislatures to appoint their electors. The lawsuit says:
Texas approached the Supreme Court directly because Article III provides that it is the court of first impression on subjects where it has original jurisdiction, such as disputes between two or more states."
Well, no because he's Iranian. But no nuclear program for himTrump is your president.
