Pennsylvania’s Gov. Tom Wolf has tested positive for the coronavirus but said he is feeling well and has no symptoms.
His office released a statement from the governor on Wednesday afternoon.
It said, ”During a routine test yesterday, I tested positive for COVID-19. I have no symptoms and am feeling well. I am following CDC and Department of Health guidelines. Frances has been tested and, as we await the result, is quarantining at home with me.”

“I am continuing to serve the commonwealth and performing all of my duties remotely, as many are doing during the pandemic.

“As this virus rages, my positive test is a reminder that no one is immune from COVID, that following all precautions as I have done is not a guarantee, but it is what we know to be vital to stopping the spread of the disease and so I ask all Pennsylvanians to wear a mask, stay home as much as possible, socially distance yourself from those not in your household, and, most of all, take care of each other and stay safe.”

Wolf, who is 72, is seen wearing a mask in public and frequently applies hand sanitizer during news conferences.

The number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations has surged in recent days. Some health care officials have said they are concerned about maintaining staffing if cases continue to rise.

In a news conference earlier this week, Wolf said it’s possible that more restrictions could be necessary if cases continue to rise. He didn’t specify what new measures could be imposed. The governor’s office has said no announcements are scheduled.

Last month, the Wolf administration expanded the state’s mask order and imposed new limits on gatherings.

This is just...not good. For the last 4 years, the only "TV" I've watched is about 30 minutes or so of youtube while eating a light snack before bed. Originally, I only watched educational programming tutorials, but the recommendations slowly lead me down a Jordan Peterson and Joe Rogan rat hole for years which I'd blast through at 2x. What I watch now is quite random, but still directed and a very hard habit to break. Most of the other "free" video sites have crappy apps and even crappier recommendations. I really don't want to go to youtube anymore. Is there any legit alternative? (and as a bonus, are any of them looking for a freelance python/postgresql developer lol)

This appears to just be the state-level supreme courts rejecting the same relief that was rejected by SCOTUS, the latter's case in possible favor of the Texas-Sized Megasuit, so little really changes.

Personally, I'd like for them to not respond out of arrogance or for them to give some desperate response like when they asked for them to throw out the PA case without looking at it, because it would "damage democracy" if they didn't.

Many people don't consider democrats and liberals traitor because they are on the other team, they consider them traitors because they are often anti-American (IE: American culture sucks we need to change it mentality), bash American's who love their country or don't want it changed to a socialist shit hole (or Communist: Antifa), and want to flood America with people from cultures that would literally not only demographically change America but culturally and ideologically. Don't even get me started on threats of violence and harassment from the left or like AoC threatening to make a list of anyone who didn't vote for Biden. Think about that. She's threatening everyone who didn't vote Biden including people from her own party, independents and right wingers. Let alone they've shown time and time again to hate the constitution or the law of the land and want to disregard it...

Imagine any other country acting like that and every group would call them unilaterally traitors or just plain evil.

As someone neither right wing or left wing, the problem is though especially at the higher levels is right wingers are often complacent with the left, and pussyfoot cowards afraid of the big bad optics if they dare stand up against them.

Republicans and Conservatives aren't truly good, but it's the difference between voting for the lazy slob down the road and your crazy neighbor who is plotting to kill you or have you put in a gulag.

Look, here's the deal. There is plenty wrong with this "election". To say it is fine only shows your IQ. Even without looking into the "fraud" issues, there is still plenty left on the plate. I grew up in a fairly isolated county in my state. Roughly 55% hispanic, 15% black, 2% "asian", and the rest was us whites. Nearly everyone was on some sort of welfare, or just sold drugs instead of work, or both. As a teenager in the late 90's, no one around me ever talked about politics at all. No one had "the internet", nobody had cable TV or satellite and we were too far out for any over the air stations. So everyone just sat around and smoked dope. When the election of 2000 and 2004 came around, nobody got off their butt to vote. There was no point, and it wasn't "cool". I have no idea what it is like now, I moved far away after 2004. But I can tell you with the few people I've kept in touch with, nearly every one there now has a cell phone and regularly burns up twitter and facebook with left wing crap (this is in a red state at that). BLM and big tech has made "voting" cool again.

So now there is peer pressure to get out in vote. But I still doubt that is enough to make these people get off their arse and actually do it. HOWEVER, if you actually mailed them an unrequested ballot with simple instructions of "just color in some bubbles and drop it back into your mailbox or the convenient roadside dropbox".... I can tell you without a doubt, that they would probably muster up the energy to do that. Especially if there were door to door "canvassers" going around "helping". Sure, they've been "empowered" to vote, but it is based on very little energy and knowledge on their part and an idea that voting will somehow get them free crap. And this is what I really have a problem with. Without mail-in balloting, they would have just stayed home.

As its been said before, if there were no poor people, there would be no democratic party. They only exist to make more poor people so they can pander lies to them. It's easy to dupe the gullible 1/3 of american population below the poverty line to voting for the left. And with just a little bit more work and white guilt tripping, you can snatch another 1/4 of the population and claim the lead. People need to wake the heck up.

Whitmer really needs to be recalled for the sake of Michigan’s economy. It’s too bad that it probably won’t happen unless she’s voted out, seeing how quite a few of the people in the Michigan House of Representatives are just as crazy as she is, such as Cynthia Johnson.
