Not the Supreme Court in particular, just what I've come to from observing how things have gone legally for the last few years. I'm no where near knowledgeable enough to point to a specific point in time when laws mattered, but the way that the Constitution has been radically reimagined from behind the bench is evidence enough that cultural shifts trump the rule of law.
