Dead pacca storage saga inbound? Didn't they say last winter they lost a few due to cold?

(Frys face in my screenshot is pretty accurate to my reaction when reading that. )
The Professor wouldn't stand for this shit.

I genuinely cannot ascertain if they are using that ironically. like surely, the point was, every time the professor said that catchphrase, he was sending the crew on a horrendously dangerous life-endangering mission?

anyway. star war. consoom product despite "no ethical consumption under capitalism". cuz am just a cumbrain gurl hehehe

Chinky Calvin (does he have his own thread yet?) is a giant lolcow himself and seeing his faggy fucking ass crossroading with Kevin is a site to behold. Imagine thinking the Qu**rterpounder is the second coming of Mecha VoldeHitler. Good on Jeremy for scaring troons away from twitter long enough to allow brave Internet-Atomwaffen to steal xir account though.
Why do these troons protect people they hate by censoring their name? I don’t find any search results of the TheQuatering being a bigot but lots of results for TheQua**ring.

I know they think that there helping by not giving quarter poundera views or protecting fragile troons who may fall to floor and have a fit because he said Brie Larson wasn’t very good at movies. But surely they should have the mentality “sun light is the best disinfectant“.

unless they don’t truly believe what there doing is virtuous...

They don’t want the tweet to be found by someone searching for the name, presumably a fan of that person, so they avoid interaction outside of their “X is bad” circle. So it’s really to protect themselves.

How are troons this fucking autistic? You're only 90% sure this is satire, Kevin? These are the same retards that say, "I don't get it, are you being sarcastic? You forgot to put "/sneed" at the end of your post."

This autism has nothing to do with troons. It is just a typical issue of people with actual autism, which Kevin has said he has. I feel like on the scale of autistic displays we see on KF from mockworthy to ohmygodpleasejuststop, this wasn't even worth a mention.

or maybe I'm just biased because I too am only 90 per cent sure it was satire...

I thought it was a misguided attempt to avoid triggering snowflakes with only their words. (I mean I take triggers more seriously than a lot of people here, but if you're going to type something like r*pe everyone knows it's rape anyway, who does that even help.)

No one. This is what psychologists mean when they say that trigger warnings do more harm than good.

Well, it does depend on the warning. If it's a warning about a graphic depiction of rape, or loud noises that sound like gunshots will be heard, or something like that, that makes more sense than "ok guys, if you don't want to see the word rape just ignore the following post"

No, triggers are really strangely specific and unique to the person: The cologne your rapist wore, or that tune that was playing on the radio when your supposedly-secure position was attacked... The topic in general is safe, at least when it comes to triggers. Treatment--if it's not an epilepsy-type trigger (in which case you want all those fuckers IDed)--is through controlled exposure, basically hitting the trigger as many times as needed to make it stop working.

So trigger warnings make things worse because they crank up baseline anxiety, and they really miss how triggers work. They're pretty much only useful to munchies and other fakers, or snowflakes like Kev who really don't understand that panic and anxiety attacks are a lot worse than just feeling a bit bad.

I wasn't talking about someone warning for just mentioning words or topics in general. We both agreed that was dumb. I explained that I felt it was less dumb to warn for more intense things like gunshot sounds or graphic depictions (eg art, sound, video) of a traumatic situation, because these are things that are common triggers and more intense than the abstract concept itself.

I accept and understand that most triggers are unique to random little details of a person's trauma, but #notalldetails are unique to a single person's trauma, eg there are many US vets triggered by fireworks on 4th July because they sound like guns; and things like the graphic depiction of someone being raped can include specific sounds, words or positions that are potential triggers. Or even if it contains no specific triggers, because art and media is designed to be emotionally engaging, the depiction as a whole can trigger an emotional response to the media in a rape survivor, that echoes the emotional experience they had during the event, and since the body remembers how it all happened last time, those same neural pathways are lit up, and suddenly you're locked in the middle of a full-on flashback.

One cannot warn for every random thing, like the colour of a jumper or a random song, but there are things that a large enough amount of people have triggers for that it is appropriate to warn for them, especially if they can't afford therapy in order to do the controlled exposure method, or have just had a very intense therapy session, or have already had a big panic attack that day.

Once warned, if it is a trigger for you, you can always choose to ready yourself and then expose yourself to the media anyway. But giving people the option and a bit of warning is kinder.

Also just so this post isn't entirely unrelated sperging, someone sponsored an alpaca at the Tranch about a week ago and I don't think it was capped here. Alpaca sponsoring is a $50 a month patreon "reward". More grift grist for the mill.

Sponsoring individual lifeforms is the kind of thing I expect for charities devoted to supporting third-world peasant children, not livestock. And if I donate my $0.89 per day to Children of Africa, I get a progress photo of the kid each month. Are the troons going to tramp out to the tranch's alpaca trough to take a photo of the various Vicugna every month? These idiots can't keep to any promise, so I doubt it.

They have an Etsy store. Second result upon Googling the ranch and pinned post on their Twitter. The Patreon is also linked on the archive post of the ranch's Twitter in the OP. They advertise their yarn on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram but outside of those five platforms, I don't believe they have anything (not even a website).

Their business description says, "We set put to start producing the best alpaca fiber yarn in Colorado, then use the proceeds to help stabilize struggling trans folk and serve the trans community," but with nearly 250-300 animals and an overcrowded space with limited privacy and a questionable handling of finances, that's incredibly misleading. I found this thread when researching this ranch, and I can't find anything indicating they're a registered non-profit with tax deductions and the ability to apply for grants. It's an unprofessional shitshow of the usual "animal hoarding is okay because we rescue" excuse and presumably unpaid farm labor.

Cats: (no pic but it looks like there's 2)
Dogs: https://i.imgur.com/3yCcwSn.jpg (possibly 1-2 more)
I over-estimated the cats and goats, but under-counted the fowl. and we know they have 200 Alpaca. Someone else is taking over as lead farm manager for the new herd and they've gotten local donations of hay. There's no way this barn can hold all the new Alpaca unless they upgraded: https://archive.md/u0dPl

They claim to be "off the grid" but a recent photo of the kitchen shows every surface cluttered with commercially bought foods, so it's questionable whether or not they're actually using the eggs provided by the fowl and I think they said both goats are boys so they won't provide milk. Farm cats serve to fend off mice. The dogs probably don't serve a purpose because I doubt anyone on that farm is training them as working or herding dogs. They don't have enough money to upgrade housing for their people let alone provide housing for more helping hands, but keep adopting animals that cost more money and labor and don't provide anything. "Farm Sanctuaries" for rescue livestock are a thing but this 'aint it.

i thought only arable farms needed farm cats to keep vermin off the crops?

You still need to protect your animal feed stocks, especially things like chickens that eat grain rather than hay.

Edit: a lot of poultry farms will have a couple of fields of millet for that exact purpose because it's more cost-effective than buying chicken feed. I doubt the tranch does though, that would require some sort of forward planning and understanding of farm economics.

Is this the prelude to Kevryn's long-awaited OnlyFans saga? 🧀 dick boy moving in can't be a coincidence then.

Oh god is it a front for alpaca-on-Kevin smut films? who would pay 50 neet bucks a month for that?
