When you think about it non-binary has replaced the queer label. I remember when queer was the label anyone gay or transgender wanted to present themselves as special, more unique than just liking the same sex or cross dressing.

The optimal level of crime in cities is not zero.

If you don't have drunk people doing stupid things or the occasional drug dealer slinging contraband, you probably live somewhere very boring. If you don't have teenagers breaking stuff and tagging walls, you probably priced out all the families.

If you don't have ethnic mafias harassing each other, your city probably doesn't attract a healthy diversity of immigrants. If you don't have ethnic mafias at all, you've probably atomized everybody in dangerous ways.

Most importantly, if you have no visible crime whatsoever, you probably live in an authoritarian police state with very little cultural dynamism and a criminal class directly integrated with the security services.

You cannot restrict human behavior to inflexible social norms all the time, and trying to do so is exactly the kind of high-modernist imposition that did enormous damage to so many people who lived through the 20th century. Life is messy, cities should be messy too.

Amazons are mythical. They were mentioned by Greek historians but historians back then tended to blend history, myth and religion together and it's often hard to untangle them.

Edit: the japanese women going to war is undoubtedly bullshit too. Samurai primarily fought with bow and arrow on horseback. You have to train most of your life to be good at something like that.

You got a point. I understand women want to feel empowered that women throughout history have contributed just as much as men done during times at war. And to be blunt they're right at times. However, it has more to do with women who were usually guerrillas rather than soldiers; enlisted women were rare, and even today is faced with controversy, even in developed countries.

If you're talking about contributing to war by actually killing people you're right (I've heard a bit about female guerillas in Central and South America and read some books about women working with the Viet Cong, quite a few Soviet women took up guns as well). What people don't talk about as much is that women were typically providers of medical care for the war injured, a lot of nurses had ranks and served under fire. Might not exactly fit the "warrior woman" aesthetic but it was honorable and necessary work.

If a feminist SJW is being a sperg just say women should have to sign up for the draft, that never fails to be hilarious.
