Maybe they thought they'd get hit with a discrimination lawsuit, or maybe his magic disability armor kicked in again, but regardless, they should have warned him firmly once, then expelled him. Why is one guy more valuable than the entire female student body?
Its definitely tard armor.
The only kind of guys *in most universities* to get away with such shit would have to be valued college athletes (because athletes bring in money) - which Russ is obviously not.

Maybe the Mormon college was just weird/different; but an average joe blow college male would have the book thrown at them for Russ-tier behavior.

This is a guy who thinks she cancelled a whole concert in SLC just to avoid him. In reality, it was a stadium tour and SLC doesn't have a big enough stadium for the crowds she draws. I'm waiting for him to run afoul of LV's prostitution laws. It's only a matter of time I think.
Sounds like butternut has an undiagnosed case of erotomania. Here's hoping his court ordered therapy can identify and diagnose it so it officially goes on record for the next time he harasses a woman.

Or decides to lick her bathroom mirror.

Also: you cannot experience peak butternut without A WOO HOO HOO!

this website is my new favourite thing. seriously. i love taylor swift. i cant believe this happened. unrelated question but are there any lolcows or youtube sensations that are even remotely good looking? like even in the slightest?
Welcome to the Farms. I can't even imagine how hysterical this cow is for someone who's actually a fan of Taylor. Like the others have said, you should absolutely listen to Nick Rekeita's reading of Russell's book about why he sued Taylor. (Don't buy the book though, don't give Russell your money.) It's a truly fascinating journey into the mind of a mentally disturbed man. Every single goddamn sentence of the book drips with entitlement, anger, and idiocy.

It is always a shock when new people learn who Russ really is. When they learn that, yes, he really did think writing one song as a gift would make Taylor fall in love with him, that yes, he really did try to punish her for not going on a date with him by suing her, etc etc. Once you start reading this thread it is very hard to stop. He manages to hit that perfect combination of narcissism, malice, and incompetence. He fails at everything yet continues on, unflinchingly convinced of his own brilliance, making most of his life about trying to force himself on women or achieve fame, totally oblivious to what a failure he is, yet totally deserving of it.

So me and @NipplelessWoman had a conversation and it turns out that Russell harassed/stalked another girl at the SAME complex that she was at as a student. The coordinator of our program at school was aware of the situation but wasn't able to do much and her hands were tied. She was a nice lady but all she could do was warn us about shitlips.
Well, that's infuriating.
Assuming it was off-campus housing, it's possible that the school's code of conduct might not have allowed it to discipline students for inappropriate off-campus conduct. Something similar happened to a college classmate of mine who was on the receiving end of an implied threat of violence. Because it happened at an off-campus rental property and the school's rules at the time didn't allow it to get involved in such matters, nobody with authority at the school could do anything. However, you can bet word traveled through the student grapevine and people started to passively avoid the person making the threat as much as they could.

Yes, it's infuriating. but more infuriating is that fact that people such as Russ either know the rules and exploit them and any loopholes, or they don't know the rules and still benefit from situations where people are unable to address his horrific behavior.

"Looking like the sexiest disabled guy ever" Oscar Pretorius on one of his worst days looks better than you Russell, and that's taking into account the fact he is in prison and can't go to tanning salons, proper gyms or the barber.
Up until his conviction Oscar Pistorious presented himself as a great athlete and actually seemed like a decent guy off the running track as well. Even if all of that is ruined with his conviction and current stay in jail, Russ will never be able to present himself as any sort of decent guy because all of his documented encounters with others show just how rude, vile, and downright sexist/nasty he really is.

Playing his Heidi Klum "song" on repeat would be a great way to chase people out at closing time.
It would probably clear the vagrants away from buildings, too (assuming they didn't try to destroy the sound system instead for playing such ear-vomit).

Even if they don't know any of that, the man is literally incapable of going ten minutes without acting like a complete fuckwad somehow.

This is the same man whose former boss at Wal-Mart had to inform every new female employee that Russel is a sex pest, and will attempt to deviate from his work to flirt with you.

I'm not a lawyer but isn't letting an employee sexually harass other workers a good way to get sued?
Probably why they ultimately got rid of him. It's a really bad idea to know he's a sexual harasser, and not just know it, but actively tell employees who are going to get harassed by the guy that you know he's a sexual harasser and are doing nothing about it.

Which is why I find it funny that Nick has kept the VOD for the stream up. I also have the feeling Russell wasn't there long enough to really pester anyone beyond his three strikes, which makes me wonder where else has he gotten work post wal-mart.

Old school mormons are very Male driven. Women are meant to get married and have babies. It looks like it's gotten a little better, but it's still penis centric.
It's not just Mormons. Minor PL but I acquired a stalker at my non-religious university and campus security wouldn't do anything until after I had evidence of him threatening to kill me. I had one professor even ask me to let it go so he could graduate. Penis reigns supreme.

Not just penis, but he probably had connections. Nine times out of then, fuck boys like that have connections or mommy and daddy's savings to get them out of trouble. Thankfully, Russell had neither, and had a big fucking mouth.

Even in situations like that, it can be a bitch to terminate an employee sometimes. You need to document the hell out of everything regarding their offenses and unprofessional behavior to build a solid case supporting your move to terminate them. Because if your ass isn't sufficiently covered, then you'll be paying for their unemployment checks, or they'll slap you with a wrongful termination suit where a judge may award them a large sum of money and/or force you to give them their job back. Especially when you're dealing with someone like Russhole who can pull the "they discriminated against me because of my disability" card to make their position more secure. You want to make sure you can pull out all the reports and paperwork that show their termination was completely justified and appropriate.

In dead-end retail it's really common for the mangers to not want to do the massive amount of paperwork to fire someone. Usually they'll "strongly suggest" they resign or they'll just schedule them the bare minimum legal amount required and make life so unbearable for them that they'll quit. I doubt Rusty would be able to take a hint, though...

I am a supervisor for a third party contractor working directly at the company we are contracted to. I had an older employee, "Bob," who was killing morale for my entire staff because everyone he worked with found him overbearing and intrusive. Bob once pushed someone far enough over a petty issue they broke down screaming at him in front of our clients. Bob went to our HR, hoping the employee who screamed at him and myself, who wasn't even there, would both be disciplined over it. HR simply encouraged everyone to get along and took no action. Bob was furious, and would no longer respond to me when I greeted him when he arrived for work, and he began walking away from me in the middle of briefings.

I emailed my boss asking that Bob be transferred elsewhere (we never fire someone) and never even received a response. My boss would have had to build a case against Bob, find someone to replace him, and then see to the new person's training, all of which was far more than my boss was willing to do simply because this guy was making all the rest of us miserable.

Bob eventually began talking to a young female employee of our client company for inappropriate lengths of time. I encouraged the woman to make a complaint to her HR, because one sure fire way to get ride of someone is for our client company to request it, but she was simply too nice to do so, feeling Bob was just a lonely old man with no one to talk to. I knew Bob was a ticking time bomb, so I told the manager I answer to at the client company about what was going on, but because the woman had said nothing, he brushed it off.

Inevitably, the excessive chatting morphed into outright stalking, and the woman came to me about it and Bob was removed. He would not accept reassignment, (again, even in a stalking case, he was not going to be fired) so he quit. There was talk of Bob pursuing legal action because of "age discrimination," but I don't think he had any grounds for a case because he wasn't fired, he was simply going to be put elsewhere. Last I heard, Bob was driving for Uber.

TLDR, sometimes you can simultaneously stalk women and kill company productivity and still keep your job.

Getting caught up but doesn't Moebius have a pretty serious effect on his eyes? As in, he can't move them laterally. There's no way he can drive; he wouldn't have the range of vision and reflexes to pass a test.

Also VIVA TARD VEGAS, BABY!!!!

He can't move his eyes and his peripheral vision is shit, but he can still turn his head side-to-side so that might be enough for him to qualify with a license.

Yeah.

That seems like a hostile work environment to me which, IIRC, is a big no no.

I'm not an SJW by any means but the word ”privilege” has never been more apt.

As I've said I'm not a lawyer but wouldn't the employees who he harassed be able to say that yes, he did harass them, if it went to an employment tribunal?

Plus, the fired employee would then be eligible for unemployment benefits, and that costs the business owner, too (computed as a percentage of total UI cases).

Much easier and more cost-effective to simply cut the staff member to one shift or whatever and wait them out.
