I don't know why, but it's things like that, that really bother me about IRL streamers and DSP: just a complete lack of respect for their audience by refusing to invest any of their lemons/bits in better equipment to make the stream better. Probably because the sort of have-their-shit-together person, who will carry a backup cell phone with collapsible selfie stick on their person because their income depends on having the tools to do the job, is not going to be the sort of walking trashfire that people like us will want to watch for our own sick amusement.

That's actually a good point. Anyone that has the sense to be professional is either desperate for money (due to Covid and/or unemployment) or not the type of person to be doing it in the first place.
