I always groan whenever I see hormone blockers being romanticized for minors. Yes, kids who are transgender exist, and I hope that they have the support they need, but that’s the thing—they’re kids. Their brains haven’t developed fully, and I think it’s safe to assume that most kids don’t understand the long lasting effects that transitioning can have. There are so many cases of kids who thought they were trans (or their parents thought they were trans) who began transitioning, only to regret it when they were older. A little power level I guess but I understand how bad gender dysphoria can be, it sucks, but it’s much safer to wait until you fully understand what you’re getting into.
