1: we already know how to select for male/female embryos. Centrifugation of sperm, IVF , etc. it’s not often used in the west, usually it’s used by couples who really want biological kids but have some really funky X-linked genetics, so this allows them to have healthy female babies (who may be carriers) instead of sick male babies.

My guess is that they are talking about CRISPR which has has an interesting future, but is unlikely to make a huge difference in this case. You’re talking about fucking up a Y chromosome to make a person a woman, but bu the time you would be able to do this (assuming the technology is available) you’re still in no better place than hormones and puberty blockers. I'm aware of all that, but I don't think that's what he's talking about. Babies will be "self-selecting" their sex? Lol no. And we're not going to be re-writing the entire genome in vivo so that adult men can have their Y chromosome replaced. I think what some feel as dysphoria is a not-uncommon part of growing up that some people blow way out of proportion. If that does happen, then of course they are gonna be obsessed with their genitalia. Anorexics are obsessed with food, but their not fetishists, they’re obsessed because they are dealing with something in a really bad way.

Some of it is peer pressure. The comparisons to troon Twitter and a cult are spot on. Some of it is maladaptive coping with an unpleasant puberty, especially for kids who realize they might be gay. For others, it's a way to deal with childhood sexual abuse; the kind associates their breasts and/or junk with trauma.

Of course, a big one is the way "dysphoria" has become so broad as to encompass any anxiety or discomfort with your gendered appearance. It simply makes me cringe when I hear someone say they’re part of “the LGBT” just as much as I hear someone say they’re “queer”. I can only associate it with very annoying people who haven’t the slightest clue what they’re talking about. It’s like it’s become a fad.

Unfortunately, for those who chose to associate with said group, you must support all others in it, or else face backlash. The sad truth is that we’re not the same. No one sexuality is the same as they all have their own problems. There’s no way to fully understand a sexuality different from yours, but the group forces a hugbox like community, similar to that of the trans community. It’s disgusting, to say the least.

Never link yourself to a group you cannot fully support. Remember, at the end of the day, you represent no one but yourself, and that’s what’s most important.

This is why things like LGB Alliance are popping up everywhere. We are sick and tired of the gender crowd. Hard agree on everything, "LGBT++" has become a sort of identity markers, but as long as gay men are thrown off buildings for being gay, I am not sure I can sympathize with their problems.

lmao this makes me laugh because let me tell you the heterosexuals are the ones making the most babies and that is unlikely to ever change so if we ever get to -this- point I'll tell you what will be selected for prevention; any genes pertaining to transgenderism, AGP, Homosexuality, Mental Illness, Physical Deformities, Disabilities, etc.

It is true that male and female sex organs are homologous (embryology is fascinating in my opinion!) but dimorphism happens around 5-6 weeks embryonic development, so really early on. There are plenty of charts that I woulnt link to cause I have no idea how Islamic that content would be considered, but clits and penis heads are homologous while the outer labia are homologous to the penis shaft. And in females the urniary system goes off and does it’s own thing.

But there is NO male homolog to the uterus and the oviducts, nor there are female homolog to the epididymis or the sperm ducts. These structures arise from different embryonic anlages (The Wolffian Ducts in the male and the Mullerian Ducts in the female); the anlage that isn't genetically programmed to develop undergo regression.

Gender expression is often held up as evidence of the realness of [transsexualism].
