It's really fucking weird and I hope he learns a lesson about that shit not being okay.

Well that explains it. With Kpop stans the industry encourages obsessive behavior (and even stans brigading others, like what happened with the Minecraft speedrun community here) and treating the idols as fictional characters. He probably has the same motive as the industry—more popularity and money this way.

Plus it looks plain awful that he won't even shut down the shippers when they do shit like draw him and TommyInnit (16 years old) fucking, and making pornographic content of the underage Youtubers in that group in general.

Maybe getting alienated from the speedrunning community when that was his initial claim to fame will make him see what he's doing. Seems all these new Minecraft content creators are young people who grew up watching other let's players and have a poor concept of having boundaries.

Mark and Jack also built their bases organically.

Dream popped up out of literally nowhere with his idiot army like some kind of annoying jumpscare. I can't stand his videos.
 
Minecraft Go is shutting down in June. Not sure how I feel about this, they started slow on it and never worked out some of the more annoying kinks in the AR but started doing monthly events I never had time (or battery life) to really finish.

On the upside, this pretty much guarantees the ever-memed moobloom in Java/Bedrock now.

And hopefully some of the other mob variants introduced in that game. Some like the skeleton wolf and furnace golem had some pretty interesting concepts and mechanics.

Sorry to double post here, but I've come to bring you all snapshot news.

First, the snapshots that I missed:
This snapshot adds in the Glow squid from the mob vote and Glow lichen.

  • Has a psuedo-glow effect that allows it to be seen in the dark.
  • Drops glow ink sacs upon being killed
    • The sacs are used to make Glow Item Frames
    • They can also be applied to signs to give your text a psuedo-glow effect.

The Glow Lichen is an cave plant that provides ambient lighting.

This snapshot adds in the lush caves blocks (but not the lush caves themselves) along with several changes.

The blocks added are:
  • Azalea bushes and Flowering Azelea
  • Cave vines and glow berries
    • The glow berries produce light.
    • The berries can be harvested and eaten or be used to grow more cave vines
    • Glow berries have a chance to grow when the vines grow. You can also bonemeal the vines for more berries.
    • Also, foxes can eat the berries.
  • The dripleaf plant
    • Needs to be planted on clay or underwater.
    • Comes in two different sizes (small or big). The big dripleafs can be used as platforms while the small ones can't.
    • The big dripleaf will tilt after you've stood on it for too long causing you to fall. This can be avoided by sneaking on or jumping on it.
    • You can also break the dripleaf by hitting it with a projectile.
    • The wandering trader can also sometimes be found selling this.
  • Moss and Moss carpet
  • The spore blossom
    • It hangs on ceilings and produces Spore particles.

This is the snapshot that introduces the new cave generation utilizing noise caves and aquifers.

21w07a is a snapshot that mostly tweaks the cave generation, change some block textures and added a new stone type: Grimstone.

Grimstone is a tougher variant of the stone block that can not only be used to make it's decorative stone block variants, but it can also be used to make stone tools.

Also they changed the ore block textures (except diamond):

Splitting the update into 2 parts is gay as fuck.

Glad theyre not going full cyberpunk and releasing buggy trash, but would have preferred to just push it back altogether.

Agreed, but they're trying to do two updates a year and pushing back 1.17 altogether would get in the way of that.

On the bright side, the content of the update is coming first with the world generation and archeology coming second ( in 1.18 ). Meaning that the next update is likely going to be based around touching up the world and structure generation.

It's the cringe fringe pride shirt with the troon flag and the Philadelphia pride flag (brown & black stipes), the Philadelphia pride flag is controversial within LGBT circles from what I hear. If she just wore a shirt with a proper Pride flag I'd have no problem personally speaking.

So I have bedrock edition (it's the worst version I already know) cuz I play on the ps4 and I've noticed how they much they push Alex for some reason, there is three of her heads on the multiplayer settings when you're creating a world and she shows up when you're about to delete a custom character (there's probably more example)

I'm guessing it's because Alex was modeled to look like Jeb and he's like the main guy, that mixed with how he wasn't the only who created Steve.

Also the fact that Alex is non-binary or someshit might contribute to why they are pushing her so much, btw as a side note what was point of making her non-binary in the first place when Steve still exists.

Anyways I don't know how to feel about Alex (probably close to the way the smash announcer feels lol), the whole character feels like a bad Mary Sue self insert.

Actually I'm pretty sure she was primarily added for a skinnier body model. Although, I never used it.

I'm not too surprised by the non-binary thing. Notch, a while back, confirmed that (with a few exceptions) every mob in the game was essentially non-binary.
