Getting nails done or going shopping is something you do with, like, the wives of your husbands friends. You’re not close, but your friendly enough to go do a thing and talk about weather or kids. It’s not something you ask a sibling to do because your sibling isn’t a generic person. They’re a person you grew up with and share history with. No wonder his sister was turned off. It wasn’t trooning out, it was the complete disregard for her as her own person and not just “a girl”
