Getting nails done or going shopping is something you do with, like, the wives of your husbands friends. You’re not close, but your friendly enough to go do a thing and talk about weather or kids. It’s not something you ask a sibling to do because your sibling isn’t a generic person. They’re a person you grew up with and share history with. No wonder his sister was turned off. It wasn’t trooning out, it was the complete disregard for her as her own person and not just “a girl”

Drastic body mods (I.e not just a nice tattoo or a handful of shitty ones you got down the shore) have always confused be, because they simultaneously say “pay attention” and “stay away” at the same time in a way that general fashion does not.
I’ve admired pink hair, goth dresses, wonky shoes and am always greeted with a smile and often a story, but piercings, major tattoos, and other obvious modifications always seem rude to bring up. Don’t know if that’s the intended effect or just me but it is interesting.

It just adds an extra layer of ick doesnt it? In my experience when a lady wants to platonically admire another lady you generally use “lovely” “You look lovely dear” or “ah, doesn't she look lovely tonight!” Is what I’m used to hearing. Again, my main complaint, living in a vacuum, not picking up on anything that a woman has ever said. It’s like he ignored us all his life as a man and now thinks he can just slide on in.

She's still giving me somewhat of an unstable vibe though. Not just body mods, but the overly giddy YouTube video and how suddenly she try to look "cutesy and feminine" just came across as a symptom of identity crisis that underlies transition. There's something in the way those people frame these things as a "Journey" That seems overtly positive and social media catered.

It's laden with faux positivity and identity. Not to mention how the timeline, she seem very rapid too. In 3 years and she's gone through many stages. I used to feel bad and curious about detransitioners, but now those are things that made me stop following them. I just get annoyed too much in the same way I'm annoyed with delusional troons.

One of the worst is Tyinc/Being, that frame her life as a weird being pure of "love and experiences" and that she isn't human anymore. She's also filled with tattoos and frame her transition regret through weird spiritual woo. That's beyond just being poetic, but more like she became unironically detached from herself even more. You can find it just putting her name in Google. It's lunacy-react worthy. (Though her case is quite sad because hysto + arm skin flesh tube has been made)

I guess most YouTubers that's obsessed with vlogging, presenting their life like a reality TV are bound to have issues.

I feel bad for these people though, trooning out left a mark on their body permanently and it won't be seen as pretty or inspiring. It'll be a warning to people to not get close to them.

I disagree with Ben Shapiro on quite a few points but love how mad he makes these people. If you were attracted to one sex and suddenly your partner decided they wanted to be the other and get their bits chopped off, you’ve got every right to leave them for no longer being attractive to you, and the troon narcissism and some of the more disturbing behaviours especially from AGPs (stealing used menstrual products, anyone?) are also reason enough even if you’re bisexual. I’ve come across very left wing women whose husbands trooned out and they’ve stayed with them all to prove what a “good trans ally” they are and claiming to “love the person, not the gender” but it’s clear they’re miserable. I can’t imagine it’d be easy explaining to the kids “why is Dad in a dress?” either.

Saying that something has standards to be that thing isn't policing that thing, it's giving a definition of a concept. A word to mean something it needs to exude other things or it's meaningless. Excluding transwomen from womanhood because they don't have right kind of body is very reasonable because there are significant biological differences between male and female bodies. These differences have affect on daily life, expectations and abilities and so is base of womanhood. Some would even say the body is all that matters, the other stuff is just fluff, arbitrary and we could and should get rid of. I don't really agree as I don't think evolution ended before brain and what our can do our bodies affect our interests and place in world but whatever. I still think observable biology is better categorizing tool than what you identify as, especially when we talk about safety and medical issues.

Trans women should be free to dress however they want, have whatever hobbies they want and replicate all lady cliches they want, but they aren't free to demand others to include them to womanhood. Woman is an adult human female, it's a useful concept and we shouldn't muddy it just because being excluded makes some not adult human females feel bad. It's not like not being a woman is a bad thing anyway, just like not being a man isn't a bad thing. You are just something else than an adult human female, in this case a male.
