Oh, more than that. It strikes close to home because a larger than expected number of RPGNet posters, including some most mods, are deviants. That includes troons (of course), but the dog mask fetish is just as well represented. A bunch of these people congregate on a closed sub-forum called The Wilde Side, sort of an invitation-only place for perverts. The sub-forum's existence alone should give you an idea about the number of degenerates on the platform.

Fun fact, I learned a bunch of the mods were in some kind of "polyamorous" arrangement years before it was cool. They were cutting edge degenerates. (And this is why they are now always slightly behind the curve - they are middle-aged libs whose best years were under Bush.)

Little People was preferable to midget or dwarf because those were originally medical terms used to describe the type of dwarfism.

It was less PC and to bring midget and dwarf under the single advocacy of LPAA and to try to gain dignity.

Its been a while since I read the books but I think the greed was already there, not because of das juden but because that's what traditional norse/Germanic dwarves did, they hoarded gold and gems. Sauron's rings weren't mind control, they worked with what was there. In the case of the dwarves they stirred up the greed and covetousness to doom their wearers through overambition.
