Not sure if edgy libertarian or liberal-on-the-way-to-political-realignment. While they're being an insufferable prick and are probably a boomer (paid mortgage off a decade ago?), their personal responsibility and "restaurants are non-essential" frame is otherwise acceptable... but then suddenly they come out with "meaningful work i.e. sustainable energy". The next step in their realignment will hopefully be to classify putting niggos on treadmills as "sustainable energy generation".
7/10 would be confused again.
TBH one of the major "comfort" reasons I won't wear a mask is because I regularly wear a half-face at my job. You think I'm gonna spend all day switching between my drooled-in p95 and p100 respirators and then slap some more dumb shit on my face in my free time? I almost wish people were hassling me about mask wearing so I could get 'em with that. No hassles lately, though something happened and many of the bars started to do the "put it on to walk through the door" thing again. At one of them the door staff blamed it on the cops, going so far as to claim that the police were citing people in downtown, which I had difficulty believing.
I confronted a few cops at the gym about it while it was fresh on my mind, and they swore up and down that they never personally enforced any kind of mask thing, and didn't believe in it themselves. They were generally of the opinion that the door staff were lying, and even asked me what bar I was talking about. The femmale cop (also 7/10 kinda weird lookin' but DAT ASS) even mentioned how her boyfriend (?) refused to wear a mask anywhere.
