FTFY. Because if voluntarily cutting off your own sexual organs with the intention of passing off as something else you can never legitimately be isn't mutilation, I don't know what is. This whole thing is an exploitation of children and depressed individuals; abuse under a veneer of righteousness, and I sure hope that in the future people can come to grips with the reality of it.

I never really liked Jim much. He seemed like a failure when placed against his peers, with Yahtzee and TotalBiscuit basically filling the same role, only better and with less indignation. Still, he must be in a sad state to do something like this at his age.

It absolutely is. Remember "1984" with the Junior Anti-Sex League? Teenage angst and rebelliousness doesn't always manifest as doing drugs and fucking anything that moves. Sometimes it manifests as over the top moralizing. It all comes down to whether a given teenager decides to embrace or reject the latent desires (sex, gratification, independence, identity) welling up within them. Think of it as "running from" or "running towards". It's no wonder that most troons are middle-class whites; the demographic most sheltered from the harsh realities of the world as children. When they hit their teens and twenties, they have to confront the unfairness of the world, and that can be a bitter pill to swallow if you were raised by coddling but well-intentioned parents. It's natural to look for a convenient target for the world's troubles. Add to this a dash of teenage rebellion ("Fuck you, Mom and Dad!") and a fear or awkwardness to their own sexuality, and well, here we are.

It fucking destroys my soul knowing people are just encouraging underaged people to try and get gender reassignment surgery because they're curious about being gay or bi or whatever. It's way too serious of a thing to push onto a child who's still discovering himself, it's a permanent change to his/her entire system and you can't just go back if it's not for you. There's a reason why trans people have a 50% suicide attempt rate, it's because they realized it wasn't for them and now they're just like this now. If you're thinking of going transgender, consider literally every avenue possible before hormonal replacement therapy and surgery. Go metrosexual, drag, or so the things the opposite gender does and see if it fits for you. Surgery is only meant as a last resort. I know there are/were a bunch of people in the military who were going to get deployed and suddenly decided they were getting gender reassignment surgery so that they could get out of deploying because they were not fit for service until the months long hormonal treatment was done. They've done this on a whim, which means they didn't put much thinking to it, which means they absolutely will have regretted later in life, if there even is a later. Guns and suicidal tendencies don't mix well, and if someone in infantry cannot be trusted with a gun or threatens suicide, they will 100% kick you to the curb and leave you on your own with 0 help. This goes for every military on earth, they will not tolerate you if you threaten to kill yourself.

I know these exact things have been said a hundred times over by people in this very thread and also by psychologists throughout the years, but it needs to be said more. I know there are trans people who visit kiwi farms daily so they can get angry and say that we're homophobic or whatever, but this comment is for you and all the others that just tell people to go trans without giving any thought.

It's all hubris and vanity. They are going to become the "pretty androgynous g(b)f UwU" from their favorite hentai and nothing is going to stop them. No amount of reason, no amount of emotional appeal is going to dissuade them. They'll just rebuke the person trying to save them with "transphobe" and cut themselves away from them. You see, cutting concerned relatives out of your life is perfectly normal when you're trying to get a "qt girldick =3". They're just haters and can't understand!

The amount of delusion and hubris needed to carry out this lifestyle is why I disdain transsexuals, their enablers, and their sycophants. They are arrogance incarnate. They are taking the body that they were given in this life, looking upon it, and deciding "I was made wrong". Not for any great deformity nor crippling disability, no. Instead they want clout, social justice brownie points, and to indulge their own twisted fantasies. They don't "feel" like they belong in their own skin, thus society must bend over backwards to accommodate.

Genuine dysphorics do exist, but their very real struggle has been co-opted by prideful, attention starved hucksters and deranged narcissists - like our dear Jimbo here.

With how soon after his death Genna was posting on social media about chasing the qt girls around town (followed by dumping g the kid at granny's and fucking off to Korea) I don't think we would have had to wait to now. That or his death really did a number on her. Either way somebody could probably make a decent post here about the post-TB antics of his widow (I did try soon after his death on here but it didn't really gain traction and can't compete with the Jim troon out episode now).

Because he sees taking estrogen as, in some way, virtuous and noble.

Trans people are put on a pedestal in Jim's sphere, and therefore, as someone who wants as much social capital as possible, Jim will want to become one because it's, in a way, "cool".
