The main issue I have with health representatives is their plan which accurately represents the data is bunk because they are not psychologists and try to ignore the fact percentages of the population will defy the rules instead making it borderline useless. If I were to place a bet, my bet would be a sizeable amount of dead people, lost businesses and a large amount of pandemic fatigue.

These people don't human very well. They're making the same mistake the Soviet Union and other commies made when they said how their central planning systems were going to create massive economic growth while bringing everyone prosperity. Well, in theory it probably could but in practice good luck finding out all the variables that go into something as complex as planning an entire society without being some omniscient machine. And just like back in the Soviet Union when you showed data to point out to the central planners "hey, these models are bunk, we don't actually know X% of people will do Y a total of Z times", you'll find your research roundly ignored and end up with the most trusted media sources in the country declaring you a dangerous spreader of misinformation.

Remember, the same people who need to be reminded to not sneeze/cough into their hands and to wash their hands after using the bathroom are somehow now geniuses able to properly wear a facemask despite never seeing them outside of the dentist's office or a tattoo parlors.

Firstly, it has that mortality even after all the measures that have been put in place, mortality isn't the entirety of the virus' effects, the virus spreads insanely quickly meaning that more people get it and get it at the same time which paralyzes the workforce and overwhelms health systems. You're comparing apples to oranges.

These overdramatic mask mark selfies from healthcare workers are so fucking annoying. What, were you not wearing masks before? High school students get comparable marks after chemistry labs and they just laugh it off when their next teacher mentions it.

Nobody fucking cares that you have something on your face for a prolonged period of time, you signed up for it and--newsflash--are the ones telling anti-maskers "oh but doctors do it so easily put on the mask, citizen".

The best response I've seen to these is a subtle dig at the op for not wearing a mask when the picture was taken. If others like the comment it can quickly spiral into an amusing shitstorm, especially if the op has similarly narcissistic friends.

I mean, I don't have any family members left that are close to being at high risk ages, cancer and suicides already cleaned house. (None recorded as Covid, I checked.) All I can do is inform them and let them make their own decisions. Unfortunately the real information is "no one actually knows jack shit" which wouldn't help one way or the other if I had an agenda.

Ultimately everyone's risk/benefit analysis to certain prevention measures is not the same. It's not my place to decide that for them, and it sure as all hell isn't the government's either.

Yeah on this forum we say fuck masks, the government is making this whole thing up and its a world wide conspiracy to eliminate all small to mid sized business basically we are riding and dying with Biden which is based.

I heard from my sister who is a nurse and she said its a hoax and wearing the masks makes it worse off also the vaccine is a scam if you have half a brain hold out.

He blamed a "new variant" for the change of tack. I bet they'll call it covid 20 so that the factcheckers can call "covid 21" a conspiracy theory.

I'm entirely expecting him to cancel christmas nationwide next week. Probably on christmas eve, just to make it that much more frustrating.

At most the vaccine is a test of sorts to see if the population will willingly receive the Mark. Once we reach the compliance of 50-60% governments can start with hanging those that think it's suspicious
