Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Man, this guy has one of the most punchable faces I've ever seen.

I also dont know why hams are flipping out over Lizzos weight loss. She looks like she's hardly lost any weight at all.
I like John (have been following him for years), but yeah, Lizzo is still a huge sow. The rage over her "weight loss" is completely exaggerated and manufactured like all other woke social media BS.

Bekah wants you to know she is totally healthy now and she totally does not hate her body even though she feels like she's "in a strangers body". Gorl... get heeeeeeeeelp. You are slowly killing yourself. Why do they think it's either restriction and misery, or deathfat. Like there's nothing in between? :cringe:

Some of the powerlevel ratings here are pretty dumb. I get the intention but some people seem to have the idea that you must write in a manner that makes it impossible to tell whether or not you are a martian.
If people could write posts about having relevant or funny information without filling half of them with meaningless personal anecdotes they wouldn't get scouters.

No one cares that you travelled in Asia or whatever and that's why you have knowledge about sizes. If you have facts just present them as facts and stop making people slog through your backstory.

Yes of course, Sad Beckah. A stranger's body, not your own where you can put down the fork anytime. These heffers take no responsibility.

Beckahs talk of "a stranger's body"? Anyone else think this is a precursor to a troon arc? It seems like a lot of troons and their muh disforriaarrzz starts with that.
I do not think she would be mtf but I can totally see her being a gender special spastic. Glasgow is rammed with cunts like that in some areas. Byres Road, those wankers are ten a penny. In Maryhill and Govan, probably not so much.

OK -- we'll take the post of Otterly as an example. It was three lines ("stop making people slog ... " indeed) and her post would have been both longer and unnecessarily stilted if it had been phrased in a manner to appeal to your peculiarities. She could have generalized ("In my experience, physically small Westerners traveling to South East Asia find themselves ... ") but I really struggle to see how this improves the conversation. The powerlevel rule was not designed to stop people from revealing excruciatingly normal things about oneself that happen to be pertinent to the conversation.

When I occasionally look at Facebook or Instagram, I find myself hating, probably no less than you do, the sort of unasked and unwanted eruptions of attention-seeking, pseudowisdom and very real stupidity, but let's not go to the extreme of discouraging otherwise excellent contributors whose personalities do not really gel with the extreme aspergerish desire not to read anything from anyone that reveals that the writer is a human being localized in time and space. Your model of ideal human interaction and etiquette is probably quite far from the norm. In my opinion, power-levelling usually involves revealing personal information that makes you, as the reader, wonder what possessed them to so superbly design and construct their own pillory and then lock themselves in it for maximum public ridicule: think of Chris Chan randomly and irrelevantly intimating that he regularly craps himself.

One other thing I would mention about that specific poster is that, due to her interesting life and profession, she is fairly regularly and specifically singled out by the userbase here to be asked questions, and is one of the top three or four posters here in my honest opinion. In my not atypical case, I've asked her for her opinion on at least three or four papers and receive intelligent and insightful feedback. She seems to balance being informative with preserving her privacy very well. But it seems like power-levelling is a little different when the information disclosed is genuinely valued by a large portion of the userbase, or that that poster has become habituated to be asked to giving very slight personal details to buttress her insights on more objective issues.

I apologise for the prolixity.

I agree. I've noticed that I can essentially say the same damn thing ("eat 1500 calories a day and exercise"), and when it's generalized, people agree with it, but when I briefly talk about it as a personal experience, it's automatically TMI, lol. Rather dumb but whatever. Also, Otterly is a wealth of information and a really interesting and kind person.

Anyway, on topic, this ad keeps popping up for me:

This along with all of Nike's other woke shit certainly isn't inspirational or aspirational. They don't even try to find somewhat attractive fat models anymore. 😐

It's because no one wants to hear about you.
No need for all the essayposting about it.

No one wants to read about who's got a boner for what or other super-cringe shit, that's obvious. Reading about a Westerner's experience with sizing in Asia is not humiliating or disgusting; it can be wholly relevant in a thread about warped perceptions of fat and health. But this is the last time I'll get inappropriately chatty about this topic.

Anyway, speaking of essayposting, here's more scolding from Marianne Kirby, a great example of critical theory's grip on intersectional nonsense. Just ignore objective health standards and eschew all personal responsibility and you will be liberated from the chains of white supremacy and fascism (does anyone remember when they would blame "patriarchy" for all of their problems?):

You're talking to autistic women who have an obsession with watching other women justify their weight on the internet. They're just salty they don't have personal experiences, and can only look at the world through generalizations.

My favorite part of the 'Farms is definitely people getting ass chapped about web-stickers.

Bekah "improving her relationship with food" sounds like your best friend from college posting on Facebook that he'll definitely change... once he's out of prison. "Boo-hoo why don't people clap when I show them my DV bruises."

As a side point, Bekah has skinny bitch arms in that pic and it makes her look like a creepypasta.
It's been said before, but the range of shapes in the FA threads is fascinating. Most of Bekah would fit in one of Tess' hamhocks, which would make up about 2/3 of a Candy Juicy Thigh.

I read through this account and I'm laughing my ass off. Why does he sound like a Markov chain generator escaped from the factory.

There's a fun theory about why African-Americans suffer from so much fucking hypertension and kidney disease. You've seen Amistad, right? Basically they wouldn't get access to fresh water while aboard the ship, and many of them died. The ones who survived were, according to this theory, very good sodium conservers. So there's a selection pressure there. Combine it with soul food and your kidneys don't have a chance.

Having been assaulted on my timeline today because I'd completely forgotten about her, I present: a brief catch up on Gigilust:

Screen Shot 2020-12-21 at 12.24.42 AM.png
WTF is happening in the boob area? Her roll looks like a fucking axe wound jfc.
The theme of the photo is "My weight is the least interesting thing about me."
"I want to become vegetarian" is one of her fun facts, lol okay bet.

Screen Shot 2020-12-21 at 12.26.58 AM.png

I was going to translate this but then the prospect of thinking about this beast pretending she can flick her bean for even one second longer made me want to die. The description of her "process" is so long how is this okay with Instagram??

Screen Shot 2020-12-21 at 12.27.34 AM.png

She must be seething that H&M keeps making her pose with smallfats.

Screen Shot 2020-12-21 at 12.27.51 AM.png

Recently she's been shilling some fatty lingerie. Sooooo happy to get another view of this weird bisecting roll. It's like her whole ribcage collapsed under the weight. Her candy juicy thighs are coming in nicely these days.

Screen Shot 2020-12-21 at 12.28.38 AM.png

She needs to borrow some of that stretch mark glitter glue from Bekah lmao.

Her account is @gigilust on Instagram. The recent video post is really worth a look. She's trying to be cute and festive but really it's just distressing to watch her completely eclipse a Christmas tree while badly miming to Ariana Grande.

Her shtick about her relationship with food? She hates her fat bloated corpse, knows how fat she is and the harm she is doing to herself, knows she needs to diet and lose weight, is planning a teeheeeee, new year new me!!!! Diet but can't admit that because the FA community would rip her to shreds.
