There's certainly that element in their ranks, but based off of what I've seen they tend to be underemployed relative to their non-transgendered peers.

I imagine there is a portion that is overpaid or underqualified relative to their actual talent or skill set in certain sectors like media or academia.

Given the demographics that tend to make up the general transgendered population though, whites with significant childhood trauma and instability in their families of origin, I would wager that many live below poverty level.
