Didn't he already do a load of this in his Fallout 3 Is Garbage review years ago? He's recycling material now.
To zoomers & The Terminally Online who spend more time talking about things rather than doing something, videos such as these are warranted. If you've never played NV & need a crash course on why it's great, Hbombs video is useful, if a bit generic.

@Jazz never died! said, NV has been lauded since it's release, to the point it was used to promote the subpar Outer Worlds. Hbomb doesn't add anything to that conversation whatsoever. Not to diss New Vegas, but liking that game is not an indication of good taste, as it implies the person has taste in video games beyond the most well-known & most celebrated releases.
His content isn't nearly as interesting as his antics. If he's going to do a future video on the Stalker series (as his video suggests), you might as well tune his vidya opinions out entirely. What good is a media critic when they only cover the most well known "niche" games out there? They're a dime a dozen & Hbomb lacks creativity in the editing department to make his stuff stand out. Look at his videos, Skyrim, Mirror's Edge, Overwatch, Dark Souls 2, Fallout 3, Doom 2016, No Man's Sky, etc. The only games indicative of Hbomb having a developed taste would be Braid, Darkest Dungeon, Bayonetta, LISA & Pathologic. In Pathologic's case, his video of Andersonesque proportions came out directly after better YTers made vids on it.
He doesn't need to prove he's a connoisseur, just that he warrants his popularity & approval of superior (& far more specialised) creators. To be fair, this may be part of his strategy to distance himself from Breadtube and to make inroads into less political, more controversy-free communities. Release standard generic agreeable vidya essays now, switch audience expectations, retweet appropriate left-wing opinions to assure them you're on their side, collaborate with other better creators, have them show up in your comment section & eventually make interesting stuff once more.
