"Don't follow the fake pastor" said the people following the fake second coming of Jesus.

Who could have seen that coming. I bet there were totally no plans for violence going on in that server.

Where did this anti-vax stuff come from? I could have sworn that for pretty much the entire pandemic Trump was putting all of his eggs in the vaccine basket while all the experts were saying, "it might not be ready for distribution for a year or more" or "it probably won't be as effective as we'd like" or "it'll take years to distribute it". The development of the vaccine was the one part of COVID that Trump seems to have been right about against all the experts. Why are the suddenly against vaccines?

Even when Trump was posting vaccine = autism stuff he didn't seem to care that much and never really spoke out against them in general. I'm not surprised that there's a bunch of anti-science alarmism in MAGA circles, but I figured that this was one thing that they'd support since it's basically the one Trump-COVID success story. Are they really just mad because the news about the Pfizer vaccine came after the election?

One of the covid vaccines was 95% effective, which is good for a vaccine. 70% with herd immunity is usually the standard.

yfw you threaten to fire the head of the FDA unless he pushes through an EUA for the vaccine but your base thinks it'll give them the Bill Gates.

Yeah, the vaccines are amazingly good news and will allow quarantine restrictions to be lifted a lot earlier than expected. Trump and his bullish attitude towards a (at the time) non-existent vaccine was completely validated (unlike so many of his other unrealistic optimistic promises). They've been willing to ignore all the promises that he's fucked up, but now they're mad that he actually delivered (as far as you can credit him for the development of a vaccine) on one of his promises that actually has bipartisan support. I literally do not understand it, not even in the way that their pro-Trump delusions mystify me. Those are at least logical in the sense that they make them feel better, this one doesn't even have a sensible motive.

I do agree that his aggressive approach to getting a vaccine does deserve him some credit. If he wasn't such a sleazy corrupt narcissist who pandered to the worst people in the country, I would have voted for him.

Well, part of the reason the trials got wrapped up so early was because of how awful the COVID spread was, so I guess we can thank Trump for the vaccine in a way.

But I genuinely think that once he's out of office he'll go full anti-vaxxer.

The main hurdle to the case would be whether Dominion and Smartmatic are public or private figures. If they are public figures, then they must show that the stations either knew that the statements were false or had serious reservations about their truthfulness. If they are private figures, then they only need to show that the stations acted in reckless disregard to the truth in making the statements. The latter is incredibly easy to prove, but the former would be much harder. As for the exact legal definition of public figure versus private figure, that varies by jurisdiction.

They already got Fox to air some video debunking the fraud claims during their shows where the hosts are sperging about election fraud

Someone should just post as Q and tell them that the vaccines are just a bunch of placebos and this is Trump's way of tricking the NWO.

Because independent of being Trumpers, they're brain damaged retards who believe every single conspiracy theory that exists, so naturally they're also antivaxers.

They're intimately tied to the election of every political office from President down to dog-catcher. I'm not sure how much more public you can get, and how much more it is a matter of public interest how corrupt or not they are. And in fact, I don't think these companies want much discovery into their shitty code review, their defective hardware, or their entire business model for that matter.

Yes they'd be insane not to sue. If they don't push back their business is ruined. A handful of news companies just told half of America they stole a presidential election.
