these people cant be human, they cant possibly be rational enough to come to the conclusion people should stay in quarantine forever

im not a misanthrope by any stretch of the imagination, but i cannot visualize as to why there are people that think like this at all

there has to be a point where these people realize that the government and media is only making things worse for them

Nope, because they are loving it. I can guarantee you though if amazon stopped delivering and they could not work from home, their enjoyment would dry up fast.

So long as they can sit and binge and consoom though, they'll take it and enjoy it and fight any effort to change it at all. And anyone who questions is WANTING TO KIKL GRANDMA and AN ANTIVAXXER WHO HATES SCIENCE!!!!!!!!! and the media encourages it because that's what they're told to do.

I'm fitting the greentext to a T, and I often keep myself stoic. However, I can't take another semester of college with this shit in place. I feel that I've been set back for decades.

Hate to be autistic about this, but every time I see people invoke people from the WW2 era (fifth reply) it needs to be said that those people would, in general, be utterly ashamed at how bitchmade people like this act (not just over the Kung Pao Plague). Most (sure, there would always be a few from any era) of your grandparents wouldn't support BLM, they would lock you in asylum for trooning out your kids, they'd call you a retard for going into college debt if you chose to go study Race Theory, they'd call you a retard for your seething over them calling you a "retard", and they wouldn't be embracing your Fallout larp and acting like you need a dose of Rad-X every time you went to stock up on chicken tendies at the local Kroger. A good number of them would probably have embraced the swastika too if they knew just how fucking stupid everything would turn out to be.

Can you maybe look at taking a semester off? Use the time to consolidate your knowledge, pre read for next year and take time for yourself? It's no perfect solution but online learning is not easy. Good luck to you though, you're in an awful spot and I am so sorry for that.

I'd guess no. These are the types of people who feel they have a sacred duty to tell the world (at their fingers on a cellular device), what they are doing, where they're doing it, when, why, how, and the whole song and dance.

Lockdowns and restrictions have only greatly reduced their public broadcasting spheres. However, they'll still find validation, and we see it now as they virtue signal with selfies with them wearing a mask with a face contoured so that you know they're cheesing under it. And like those tweets, they feel the need to say "I'm home! It's where I've always been for the past months, and I'll keep being here! You should too!"

We're lucky enough that "Trending" shows that they have something to consoom on the daily.

Well that's the thing, isn't it? They're happy to order delivery from home but you know, fuck warehouse workers, delivery people, grocery store stockers, food transporters, etc. amirite? Their lives don't matter so long as Susan and Jerry get their Postmates delivery every evening.

If they truly were being "selfless" as they like to claim, they'd donate all of their disposable income to families and businesses in need. They'd grow their own food and live off the land and produce no carbon footprint to speak of. They'd help people pay their bills and rally together fundraisers for them, virtually or otherwise.

But these idiots want to be couch warriors. They want to get a gold star for being lazy and useless, and now is their big opportunity. ON TOP OF THAT, they get to be gleefully shaming everyone else who isn't, all the while working from home doing a completely useless job (9/10 times, guaranteed) and acting as tho The Economy is some magical entity that will restore and fix itself after years of lockdown stop-start autism, and they can keep on consooming with glee.

I find it interesting these types call other people "lacking in empathy" when it's all a projection of their own lack of empathy and imagination.

Always batching about "high pressure jets" coming out of masks any less tight than a soyboys nut hugger skinny jeans and aerosols.

You know, I can produce a high pressure jet of particulate air from another, lower area if we ever crossed paths.

I'm not, I have two neighbors buying and using $7-8 of dollar store Fabulouso a week, emptying entire cans of febreeze and having tantrums when I get deliveries or go take a walk. I've had code enforcement up here over the toxic fumes. One crazy bitch dumped it (cleaner) right in front of my door early on during the grand opening of Coofworld. Almost everyone else moved out over this but I'm planning on leaving the state so I'm here until I pull that off.
If I ever see my real name here it will be over something related to this shitty building and what happens here. The worst perpetrator is a old black lady so I know even telling her to fuck off would incite the next social media outrage cycle.

Out of curiosity has anyone here who's had the Wu flu have any lingering or presistant symptoms? If so what are they and how badly would you say they affect you?

Depends if COVID fucked them up good or not. I don't think there has been any 100% confirmed information about the vaccine stopping the spread of the virus if you carry it so there's always a chance they become a carrier of sorts.

My whole family was super sick in February, before tests were available (so it might not have been Covid, but my parent's doctor thought it was). My mom's in her 60s, and she said breathing felt "cold" for about a month, but then she was fine. I had an annoying pointless cough that hung around for a couple weeks.

I know a few other people who have had confirmed cases and they're all totally fine. My 90-year old, bedridden grandpa had it with no symptoms at all, while my friend's significantly more spry grandma had it and died.

I definitely had something in February was just drainad for like 3 - 4 days in addition to nighttime muscle aches and another rather unpleasant symptom. might have been coof idk. My father's mom who's 82 and a diabetic got it and was fine aside from mild pnumona. This thing is weird

No. Or, I felt tired and run down but I do not have sick pay so I cannot maligner for months at a time.

Every person I know with full blown alleged long coof has full sick pay for months.
