Best fucked up books

Edward Lee has some edgelord shit out there, but he's done a few novels that aren't just gratuitous gross out stuff. Dahmer's Not Dead and City Infernal are pretty good for what they are.

As for fucked up books, Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z Brite is one of the more messed up books I've read. That ending will stick with you, fucking bleak.

Omg. I love Billy Martin. Enough to respect the trans shit lol. He's one of my favorite authors since I was a teenager. Enjoy:

Lol I'm the bookmobile.

Title is Psychopathia Sexualis
Author: Richard Von Kraft-ebing

I come from a family of readers and I was never censored in what I could read. If it was in the house, it was fair game. I got my hands on this book when I was probably around 11 or 12?
It was case studies of some of the most deviant, fucked up sexual psycho's you would ever want to read. It was originally published in 1937 in German, I think the version I had was a reprint from 1965. It was pretty shocking. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
It also talked about the "treatments" that were given to these individuals, which was it's own horror show.
I have no doubt that many of the individuals in the case studies would have fit right in some of KF's threads.

It wasn't that bad.

"Misery" by Stephen King is an obvious classic. I don't know if the movie is good, but I enjoyed the book a great deal.

I'm not sure if I can call this book good or not, as it seems to only be available in Japanese and French(?)... However, 『家畜人ヤプー』or "The Human Livestock Yapuu" by Shouzou Numa is an erotic science-fiction book written about a decade after WWII ended. It's essentially about white people owning Asians as slaves.

I am so curious about this book and how it pertains to the author's feelings as a Japanese man living in that era, but my knowledge of the language is laughable. I'm half-tempted to just buy the book and create an awful translation myself. It's available on AbeBooks.

Not really "fucked up" but still fringe and hated by the usual circles so I bend the rules. It goes to great lengths to research the Holocaust and essentially determine that the death camps never used Zyclon B and had the Jews die via poisoning. It doesn't go to where you usually expect like outright denying the Holocaust ever happened and etc.

But what does Holmes have to do with the Nazis?

Gladiator by Korie Massey is unintentionally hilarious at times. Just look at this blurb:

At the very least, this was violent and sexual enough to not be a boring pretentious slogfest published by Victoria University, which is unfortunately the most I can say about novels published where i'm from.

"screaming naked fat man whose skin looked to be almost completely gone from being dragged around the stony battlefield"

Holy fucking jesus! I forgot to mention this one:

Mother Fuckers: The Auschwitz of Oz.

https://www.amazon.com/Motherfuckers-Auschwitz-Oz-David-Britton/dp/086130098X

Think George Orwell meets William S. Burroughs meets Sade meets the Aristocrats joke. It is a very extreme alternate history book examining the Holocaust in ways not previously thought of. Including a chapter where a happy little talking car ala Herbie the Love Bug visits the Dachau death camp.

This is only part of a series too. It's a series staring Lord Horror where there's more books, comic books, albums, and even an indie film.

There's a whole legacy of work that's sadly underrated. Dive in.

Here's a sample chapter:

Followup: I bought the 2nd book in the Lord Horror series Baptized in the Blood of Millions.

Good shit so far. Sample chapter:

David Britton, the author of the Lord Horror series, has passed away today. Fearless fucking guy who stood up against real censorship.

More comics.

DeadWorld (1993). Started in 93 but predates Walking Dead by a decade. B&W ultra violent zombie comic about an ongoing story of survivors in the zombie apocalypse. Tell me if that doesn't sound familiar. Big difference? The gore. And it has a hyper intelligent zombie leader that talks (Think: a super Bub from Day of the Dead). Great cover art.

Note: the comic was released as "The Dead" and was retitled to Deadworld.

Shoutouts to Faust too:

I'm not a fan of it but I bring it up anyway. Did Todd McFarland steal the idea? Who knows? McFarland did state that the anime Wicked City was an influence on Spawn which I don't really believe. I think he took inspiration from Urotsukidoji more because that's about a human realm, beast realm, demon-beast realm and the whole idea that there's a holy war going on between the realms and humanity is the rewards to the victor. I think he just didn't want to mention a series connected to porn.
