I think by now a lawsuit would not be beneficial to either of them.
Because Mark Wiad is on his way down because of a dying mainstream industry and Rich is on his way up as a fully established comic book publisher. Neither of them can really afford to push through with a lawsuit that has pretty much become pointless due to the Comic Book crowd on both sides not really giving a damn about the outcome anymore.
Basically, Rich got what he wanted and became a part of the comic book industry and Waid got exposed as the villain he really is but, still got away with keeping Rich away from being published by a mainstream publisher.
So at the end this was kind of a draw.
After a fortune of other peoples money....
I guess it would be more of a win on Ward’s part, but the lawsuit did benefit Rich a lot more than it did Waid. The lawsuit might have went away but Ward’s reputation is damaged
Yeah, that gofundme with a whos who of industry giants donating showed how injured he was. He was so hurt he got his dream job of writing Superman.
Richard is nothing in 'the industry.' It's a tiny clubhouse at this point. But 'the industry' is the direct market, which CG isn't apart of. It isn't sold in stores, doesn't reach more than four or five thousand people at most. Brian Visagio has a larger readership than Richard does.he did not prevent Rich from becoming a force in the industry.
You're wrong.That’s why I see it as a draw.
As for Mr Bigguns, a fool and his money are easily parted.
This is true of a great many people
