As someone who made the mistake of having a year-long meltdown over politics, all I can say is that I think
@It's HK-47 was dead on in his assessment of the Right.
I'll admit, I've emailed my Representative several times to voice my complaints about the election and the various bills being proposed. But that's all I can do and it's really all anyone can do without glowing.
Sad part is, most of the right-wingers won't even do that, let alone the moderates, centrists, independents, and whatever the fuck I am on the political spectrum.
The doomers sperging over Harris bringing about concentration camps, Iranian nukes, and a "progressive utopia" are even more retarded than I am.
Yeah, we all know AOC sperged about wanting "Truth and Reconciliation" tribunals but she's retarded and is the Left's equivalent of Sarah Palin and Dan Quayle. AOC is pretty much on thin ice with the corporatist uniparty as it is and it'll be a miracle if she isn't gerrymandered out of office by 2022.
Trump's not going to cross the Rubicon and all we're going to see under a Biden/Harris administration is just a slightly shittier retread of the Obama years.
If the GOP was actually in danger of going extinct, McConnell wouldn't have thrown Trump under the bus like he did last week. He's very much part of the corporate uniparty just like the rest of the DNC and most of the GOP. I think he only backed Trump as long as he did because he was scared of the Georgia runoffs and I wouldn't put it past the DNC making some backroom deal with him to make sure he'd keep his razor-thin Senate majority and that Stacey Abrams wouldn't fuck things up too badly (I'd imagine she's on thin ice like The Squad is)
TLDR - It don't matter. None of this matters.
