As someone who made the mistake of having a year-long meltdown over politics, all I can say is that I think @It's HK-47 was dead on in his assessment of the Right.

I'll admit, I've emailed my Representative several times to voice my complaints about the election and the various bills being proposed. But that's all I can do and it's really all anyone can do without glowing.

Sad part is, most of the right-wingers won't even do that, let alone the moderates, centrists, independents, and whatever the fuck I am on the political spectrum.
