I'm going to have to agree with the other guy here. Voting is actually an alarmingly unprotected right. There are constitutional protections for not having the right taken away for anything other than crime and for not having it taken away because you were previously a slave, but there's absolutely no guarantee of such a right (other than for Senate elections) and, as far as the Presidency goes, the states could presumably just have the legislature choose their electors. There's nothing in the Constitution that says otherwise. Your right to vote comes from the state you live in, not the federal government. My opinion may seem bizarre, but prove me wrong with the actual text of the Constitution.

It wasn't just that he was an angry winner, it was that most of the "damage" his administration had done to the country wasn't really that far beyond the pale, and would either be expected of a republican president or be something that could be flipped around easily enough by another admin. Or it was rendered somewhat moot by forces beyond his control - such as the fact that he tried to scupper US involvement in the Paris agreement, but the private sector went on forwards with green tech anyways.

But with his behavior since the election, he's gone on to - in my eyes - do something which is remarkably bad and petty in a way that he can't just walk off, which could have lasting consequences beyond his admin's other blunders.
