it looks like a WWII cartoon because drawing realistic features on a cartoon makes it look like a political cartoon. You notice how fucking tiny that artist drew the eyes; the flat as fuck noses, and the wide, toothy grins....it loops back into being racist exaggerations.

It’ll never cease to amuse me that the supposedly freethinking “trans rights” crowd is the one that tends to push the “you gotta perform at a certain level of femininity/masculinity at all times for your entire life and never feel insecure about it or else you’re not REALLY a wo/man” the hardest.
Though it’d be funnier if trans-trending had stayed limited to fantard slapfights and embarrassing social media profile sections where it belonged instead of the trenders playing chicken with the “truscum” by doubling down and taking craploads of puberty blockers and horomones they don’t need.
Stretch marks are probably the ugliest things ever. Why do Tumblrites love drawing them?

Thankfully, the game is pretty much niche (and a fighting game to boot), so I haven't seen any 'trans' tumblr art from what I know of, but still draw him as 'girly' (he's actually sly and manipulative and athletic, seen as his fighting style being very acrobatic). Unfortunely, trying to invite some of my friends to KOF would make them immediately flock to Ash and do wild headcanons while refusing to play, so I just gave up talking about it to them.
I want more Metrosexuals. 'Classy' men are nice but men with a taste of fashion are also nice. I get why flamboyant men died off nowadays. Still want some more, though. Only one I know of from this recent time is Sylvando from Dragon Quest XI but fan-artists got ahold of him.
EDIT TO ADD: It fucking hurts when you want to look up fanart for characters like these (including tomboys), but the types make them so easy pickings for tumblr that whatever abomination tumblr did to them is the first thing you see upon searching unless the media is niche.

Insecurities that they project onto their art and pass it off as “inspiring/positive”.
You notice that people with these insecurities have a paragraph of letters and anagrams in their bios along with sparkle emojis so it makes them look special.
Cartoons are supposed to be stylized drawings based off reality. But sjw artists love putting real ass features on their cartoon drawings. It doesn’t mash well. Either go for a realistic way of drawing or keep it simple. It doesn’t look good mashed up.
What’s even worse is that there are many examples of big women in cartoons that get the message across and that’s not good enough for them.
There’s even a running 4 Koma comic about a chubby Japanese girl and her life.
Chubby manga "Pochamin Diary" is what it’s called if interested.
If you wanna see “real girls in manga” read Seinen (mature) manga and not comics intended for little boys.
They wanna see a morbidly obese, unhygienic, slob be the hero and get the boys so they can feel like they have a chance at getting someone.

The Fanganronpa wiki has really sjwy fan characters including edgy gender snowflake characters. They always make their personalities to that of total cunts.

Oh boy, Hyper Danganronpa H2O. Where to even begin with this dumpster fire. The creator made this soley to spite someone else who didn't put trannies in their fanganronpa, and I believe @Yukari Yakumo even discussed making a thread on him once.

Why does this kind of personality type get used so much on fan OCs and OCs? Its never done for a fitting character type or taken for a spin like 'foreigner takes everything literal and accidentally says some brutal honesty because not being socially adept to the new culture, but is still learning', which is better and brings more to the table than just being a general asshole.
Then they get surprised that being a jerk to everyone has consequences and/or nobody wants to be around that person. It's like they want others to bow down and just take it as is.
Mind you, jerk characters can be done well but these people want to be jerks because... They're jerks. That's it, nothing more, nothing less.

Oh, so do I. It breaks my heart to see how guys were boarded off into a tiny room surrounded by "you MUST be gay/trans" T_T And now we can't even have fancy ones in fiction - relevantly, just yesterday, it occured to me how a "makeup'd curly-white-wig-wearing kinda-French nobleman" visual has never been used for any kind of good guy in anything recent whatsoever.
That one is actually a canon "transwoman" in original japanese, but yeah, fanart IS obnoxious.
All this genuinly made me stop looking up fanarts of anything. Too bad I cannot avoid them as a follower of Dragon Quest blogs ><'
Because these kinds of people literally cannot make characters that are not a part of them. And they are unrepentant assholes.

It's truly fucking annoying that when a character has X behaviour, today people actually push said person/character towards this little box of percieved identity rather than let them be and do what they want. That is far more harmful for everyone than people thing and i fucking hate it. I kinda understand why it works more with women (since they usually conform more to wide social norms than men), but the fact that everyone buys into it really does a lot of harm.
This affects a lot of niche identities like metrosexuals (tbh, it's been years since i haven't heard about this) since it's like these kind of people are lurking around, waiting to push people around when they have the most meagre doubt about their identity. They are like modern cult leaders that prey on confused people, because in this day and age, percieved gender behaviours and that bullshit are brough up more than ever. Since the "a woman isn't born, it's made" mantra was made, people have come with the most ridiculous things in order to claim that a woman isn't a woman or a man isn't a man. They are still men and women, just with behaviours that differenciate from the norm. And that is totally fine.
Like Yukari said, this is about themselves. One can easily see that most if not all SJW characters are self inserts or a justification for the beliefs of the creator. Making a well rounded and balanced character is not easy. You can make a jerk, and still make them likeable. You can make a villain, and him be justified in his actions. You can make a hero that is reprehensible. But these people just see things too white or too black.
I could go on about characters a lot to give some perspective.
Let's take Shi Long Lang from AA. He starts off as a douche that constantly refuses help and gets in the way of Edgeworth's investigation. If it was just simply that, he would be unlikable in every sense. But later you learn that the reputation of his family as law enforcers was ruined by a prosecutor and because of that not even the president trust his clan.
One of the things people sometimes forget is that if you make a character with a somewhat unlikable personality, they need to have a justification for that. Not just "i'm just like this" because that makes them irredeemable and absolutely unlikable in any sense. A justification makes you relate and understand better the character rather than them behaving like an asshole because they are like that. Also, another thing about this kind of characters is that if you want to make them genuinely likable, you set them up for a redemption arc or they have some sort of trait that gives them a silver lining.
Going back to Lang, despite his hostile character, he is extremely diligent, polite and devoted to his agents (in the scene where he says that all of them are Nº1), who in turn love him because of his dedication. Or for example, Prince Zuko who in his journeys learns about humility and care for others.
I could go on and on, but i think you get the point.

A lot of people are too lazy to make interesting characters that aren't just one-dimensional self inserts, especially with existing characters. Their focus is always "how gay/trans can I make this?" instead of "how can i expand on this universe and make it believable and fun?", as a writer it pains me to see it. Speaking of, here's a guy whose "Everybody Lives!!!1!!" AU is comprised of self inserts and fankids... for JoJo.Like Yukari said, this is about themselves. But we need to remembe, that self-inserts are very popular and many characters are self inserts, eg: the whole Eddsworld cast (Edd Gould) or Loudhouse MC, (Chris Savinio) Mabel and Dipper, (Alex Hirsch), or probably even Catradora (Noelle Stevenson and her Girlfriend), so I don't think kinda badly of them maybe too, because I used to have a Self insert DC OC
