This is the kind of thing that makes me feel like the political right is losing. Even if you’re well versed in politics, grounded, and dare I say realistic, you’re honestly just towing the line with stuff like this at this point. It doesn’t do anything and it’s been like five-six years since things started to get goofy.Styx vlogged about the Youtube alternatives.
I got to agree with that commenter who dropped that rant.
Does he identify as right wing now? When I stopped watching a few months ago he was always doing the "ackchyually I'm super left wing" schtick that Scott Adams also does. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel like the political right is losing
I’m not sure, honestly. As far as I’m concerned he openly considers himself a trump supporter, which is right wing populism. He’s probably some kind of right wing libertarian but wants to avoid the criticism of being owned by the free market and huge companies.Does he identify as right wing now? Styx's problem is that he is a libertarian. His ideal world is one where the left is given liberty, allowed to win the culture war, but he isn't silenced is allowed to endlessly and pointless criticism them, aka whine. His standards are this low. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel like the political right is losing. I think left wing politics are taking risks, pushing hard and even if they’re fucking stupid, it’s culturally, obviously the winner right now by moving the Overton window further left constantly. Even people like AoC are making more of a difference streaming games on the side rather than just talking to people like Styx. That’s really where we’re at.
if you have to go off to a new platform to say things to all the people who already agree with you, because you are afraid to be silenced, I feel like what you’re doing is pretty useless, unless you just like talking I guess... At least in China they’ll use open platforms and just say things like “Winnie the Pooh” to avoid crime, or being silenced. I think Styx could probably be at least a little more offensive.
maybe it’s a stupid criticism, but his shtick is old and inoffensive (but he’s still afraid YouTube will ban him). It says a lot. He’ll end up like molyneux with people calling him a Jew in the comments at bitchute and nothing beyond that. Who would want that? Literally just do anything else.
I don't even disagree with your previous post, but are you sure that you're qualified to criticize someone this way when you can't identify his political ideology, despite him defining it constantly in most of his videos? Also, mentioning that you have views "of the left" is being intellectually honest, if that is true. I doubt these people want association with the fringe elements of the left by stating such; if anything, I assume it is an attempt to show the contrast between their classically liberal beliefs and the beliefs of the modern left.I’m not sure, honestly. As far as I’m concerned he openly considers himself a trump supporter, which is right wing populism. He’s probably some kind of right wing libertarian but wants to avoid the criticism of being owned by the free market and huge companies.
I think this came from philosophers like Zizek who for some stupid reason call themselves communists, not because they believe in what communism was, but because they want a better alternative to capitalism. I think Jordan Peterson and that one young bald beanie guy call themselves left wing as well. I just don’t get it at this point. Why would you want to associate with that? Lol.
Libertarianism offers liberty to people and ideas: in a true free market economy, right- and left-wing narratives would receive the exposure enjoyed nearly exclusively by the left at this moment (and no, Fox doesn't count as right-wing lol). The whole idea of a "night watchman" state is that the government's only legitimate duty is to prevent abuse of its citizens, domestically or foreign. That includes suppression of speech.Styx's problem is that he is a libertarian. Says the degenerate mulatto pedophile who is allowed to talk utter degeneracy without getting put against a wall.Styx's problem is that he is a libertarian. I definitely agree with this. The Right is in a pretty bad spot and as someone who has frequently been called a doomer I'm a little satisfied (albeit still saddened by the situation) to see that some people at least seem to be over the coping that I still see Styx engaged in. Styx can talk about Bitchute and Rumble and whatever else, but even he has to know that he's trying to soothe himself by acting like they're going to make any sort of real difference. The minute they actually threaten Youtube/Google (if they ever do) they'll either commit suicide via two bullets to the back of the hard drive or they'll be bought out for a relative pittance. And furthermore, the alt-tech ghetto isn't exactly attracting many people who don't already follow the person as you said. So called normies have no idea what the fuck Bitchute is for the most part. Rumble is a literally who. DLive at best is maybe known to them as some "den of the alt-right". All these Twitter wannabes likes Parler and Telegram will go the way of the Californian Republican too, either extinct or irrelevant (and the latter, then the former) sitting in their cuck sheds of the internet. Go ask Molyneux or Nick Fuentes if they wish they still had their Youtube channels, and if the former wished he still had his Twitter. They're either going to tell you that they're fine not having them or they'll tell you the truth. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel like the political right is losing. I'm going to say he's not since he always shows up in my recommendations like others who also claim it.Ok, so prove that Styx is shadowbanned.
Yeah I swear this is just a trick because they know some people will unsub after a particularly bad take or whatever and then forget what exactly they unsubbed over so when a video comes up in the recommended the hope is that they go "oh that dang dirty youtube" and immediately resub. It might be worth it to track when he mentions this and compare it to recent sub losses. For the record I never got unsubbed from him by Youtube. In fact I find that with Youtubers who talk about that happening I'm never one of the ones who gets unsubbed or has videos not show up. Not saying that it doesn't happen (I'm sure it does to some degree), but I must have some good luck.

You could argue (convincingly) that such a platform would be wasted on right-wing voices, given how cowardly and meek the right tends to be, but even so, a wealth of differing ideas seldom leads to consensus on any. While I agree Styx likes to whine, that's a personal fault. It has no bearing on the concept of libertarianism.
I agree with the 1st half that the right-wing is in a bad stop. To be fair that stop is partly because of people like Styx or Mr. Obvious or these other MAGApede cope grifters.I definitely agree with this. [buzzword].Cope.
1. What what if right wing and left wing narratives receive equal exposure? Do you know the people promoting [insert your most hated issue] will stop? No. You're a [bigot and/or greedy] and they'll never stop until you're vanquished. Your fundamental mistake is thinking your enemies are arguing in good faith and are willing to be changed.
2. Whining is ALL libertarians can do. You cannot ban your enemies. You cannot put them in jail. That is infringing upon their liberty. So all you can do is maintain a perpetual civil war.
3. Your enemies will claim you're immoral and once that occurs, people are completely fine with stripping you of your rights of your liberty (deplatforming, hate speech, etc.). Irony here is the libertarians believes the only place they should have freedom is inside their home. Other people should be 100% allowed to discriminate against them. That's protecting the liberty of other people. End result of Libertarianism is a cuckhold ideology.
Libertarianism is completely unnatural, completely ignores human nature and was a product of the 20th centaury.
Libertarianism in the modern age was really just a cope to tell the encroaching Left to shut up, while acting like we can all play within the same framework. It was a lot of "I don't care what people do behind closed doors but don't make me watch it" and "everyone should be able to say whatever they want stop getting me fired."Cope.

But if you suggest his content is stale and maybe the lower engagement on his channel is due to people growing tired of the format or have moved on from his content for whatever reason then you are a shareblue shill.Sure people have said it here but "Alright every, today "X in news about some leftist doing dumb" Smug laugh, today we are going o be talking about what the LAMEstream media has to say about X person doing something dumb. Of course X is not reporting on it because they are legacy media. I LOVE when the [insert other boomer-tier buzzword like lamestream news) so called liberals do Y. Y-you know *smug laugh holds up hand to chin like pepe* rambles for 5 mins about how they are dumb. THat's about all, peace out.
I understand that humans enjoy repetition, they enjoy routine, and autistic people like himself doubly enjoy it I really do. But you can go back half a decade and he's essentially making the same shit. I PREDICEDTED THIS *smugness intensives*, "When I was a liberal back in college", "mentioning of Vermont". People thought Sargons video were repetitive? This shit is like being trapped in a room with a tape machine that's jammed.
I think that partially his Youtube numbers are down because he's been telling his userbase to go to other platforms like Bitchute now for a long time. One of his things that he says is "I know it's not that people are losing interest because my videos on other platforms keep increasing in popularity." Well no shit, you've told people to go watch on other platforms and they do. They're probably not going to circle back and give it another click on Youtube. His videos since the new year began all have between 7.1 and 14.5k views on Bitchute as of this post. His videos in that time on Rumble barely have any views (top one is 648.) Even if half from these two platforms had watched on Youtube his numbers would still be down. Once again, to what degree none of us can really know, but it's fair to say that the algorithim likely isn't helping, but it's also fair to say that people are a little burnt out and right now a lot of his viewers are probably a little exhausted with politics. There's only so much shit about Covid and "Trump's battle against election fraud" can listen to.But if you suggest his content is stale and maybe the lower engagement on his channel is due to people growing tired of the format or have moved on from his content for whatever reason then you are a shareblue shill.
