I think one of my favorite things about Kayla is her constant habit of completely missing what everyone's saying in favor of making up some fake argument that literally nobody is having.

What literally nobody is saying:
- sister in law is a shining example of motherhood
- fuck yeah punch babies

What people are actually saying:
- someone can behave like garbage and still be a victim of abuse, which can help explain their actions and elicit some level of understanding/sympathy without making their actions acceptable
- Kayla is an annoying little cunt who turns a recounting of literal child abuse into a rant about how this inconveniences her

Idk what I expect because she can't read, but what else is new.

Also, since apparently she's Offended by this: idgaf if Kayla's tumblr!asexual, that dress shit is just standard fujioshi schlock written to flick her bean to. Just because she's a girl pretending to be a boy who dresses like a girl doesn't make her ~gender nonconforming~, it just means that people look at her and see an (ugly) chick who looks like she crawled out of the Halloween bargain bin at Kmart.

i'm glad you brought this up because i've been thinking about it for a long time but didn't quite know how to word it. it feels like multiple times a day she'll make a post in the format of "me: [sensible thing she didn't actually say] clowns: [horrible thing no one actually said]", and it feels more like a desperate attempt to twist the narrative in her favor than an actual clapback. along with vague kf replies, there are so many times where she makes a post about an ask without actually posting the ask, so no one knows what that anon was ACTUALLY saying. i think she thinks it makes her look better, but it really comes off as a stubborn, prideful person who will manipulate situations to save face.

there was an anon slapfight that happened recently (don't think it was posted here because it's stupid) when kayla made a vaguepost about her ex's bf's edgy blog and someone took it personally, and kayla just decimated them. in her original post, she said straight up "if you get enjoyment from hurting your partners you're a shitty person", and someone was like "hey, i'm into BDSM, and it's judgemental to say i'm a terrible person", which she replied to with "WELL IF YOURE FETISHIZING SELF HARM AND GORE YOU ARE A TERRIBLE PERSON", and they were like, "no, self harm is bad, just don't make moral judgements about sadomasochists" and she said "i never said that" and they were like "you literally said it in your original post right there" and she was like "i hope you don't have a partner and never do". so like, regardless of how you feel about BDSM, the way that kayla:

1. "mis"interpreted/exaggerated what the anon was saying to make them seem evil
2. denied saying something that if you scroll down you can read
3. brutally put-down someone asking for an apology

is a great example of how she uses this tactic to always make herself appear as the better person.

Another thing they like to do is pull the rug from under people in order to make themself look better.

It was something that bugged me about the start of this recent sister-in-law tirade. They were intially vague about complaining about complaining about her, simply focusing on how she was complaining about how hard it is to raise a fussy baby, and whenever people called Kayla out on it, they proceeded to drop the "Well, sorry that I'm upset about this traumatized, abused baby and their neglectful bitch mom!!!" as if this information had ever been presented earlier and it was a "gotcha!".

Reminds me of those AITA posts where it's like "AITA for firing my elderly employee" and the post content details how the dude was actually openly racist and a serial sexual harrasser.

There's just a glaring sense of insecurity going on here when we make exactly 1 comment about her asexuality that causes her to spam a bunch of text posts trying to dunk on those DISGUSTING SEX-HAVERS just stating the facts. Does she feel threatened by any implication that someone might not want to be stuck in a sexless relationship forever, perhaps?

Anyone fully secure in their preferences wouldn't really need to justify it the way she does. Now normally I wouldn't be so quick to discount allegations of child abuse, especially given the fact that I have seen the sister-in-law's social media and yeah she sure seems like a train wreck, but does anyone else feel like Kayla could be blowing this out of proportion just to justify bitching about her sister-in-law on Tumblr? She says that she can't do anything about it because the parents are assigned to the case but frankly if I was in the same house with an infant being hit on the head and neglected all day I'd actually do something about it instead of whining about how sad this child's trauma makes ME. I mean, has she even documented anything to CPS or done anything outside of Tumblr posts to keep these children safe if she's so worried?

1. It's always awkward to me when I see "ace" tumblr people talking about sex as if it's dirty, as if gay, lesbian and bisexual people haven't been fighting against the concept of sexuality being dirty for decades. Sex is important to a lot of people. Sex is usually pretty damn important to gay and bisexual men, which they're often shamed for outside of their community. Kayla wouldn't know this because she's a fujoshi with the viewpoint of a literal child when it comes to physical intimacy, and doesn't seem to want to accept or understand that for a lot of LGBT people, acting on their sexuality and being free with it matters a lot to them, and matters to them in their relationships.

EDIT for above: it's especially awkward since she's constantly making jokes about how gay she is, and how this or that is gay. You know what's actually gay, Kayla? Fucking the same gender. That's what makes you gay.

2. How fucking old is she? She's aging so terribly. She looks like a haggard 30-something year old. I know 30+ year olds who smoke and drink and have done so their whole lives, and they don't look like that. How does that even happen?
