I've always wondered why there are certain "fandoms" that seem to generate unhealthy obsessions (e.x. Sonic, Pokemon, My Little Pony, etc).

In comparison, I haven't seen this level of obsession with Mario, for example.

There's a walmart relatively close to this waffle house (iirc, he's mentioned a walmart multiple times). a mcdonalds in front of that walmart and many other take out restaurants (he's mentioned mcdonalds and fast food restaurants too), and there's even a dentist in the area (but we don't know if the dentist he went to was close to his home or not). Seems like they did found him.
