Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

Alright. I got Breath of the Wild today. I haven't gotten very far into it, but I'm having fun so far. Now I have one more question: Is the DLC worth getting?
I loved BotW but never ended up getting it. It's a very complete game without the DLC.

I dunno, I'm the kind of person who'll look at DLC when I first get a game for any freebies, and when I either beat it and still want more, or a big sale is on. Though I don't think Nintendo ever puts their DLC on sale, so 🤷‍♂️

I think you get a motorcycle? Which is definitely one of those things you'd only want after you've beaten the entire game, since it's a very dense world and just riding around Hyrule on a fucking Harley sounds like a great way to miss practically everything. I dunno, reconsider the DLC if/when you hit the hundred hour mark.

edit: Also like every Amiibo works with BotW, and the Zelda amiibos give you exclusive stuff. So use those if you have any sitting around.

Man.. I literally found one korok so far, and I don't even know what it does yet (no need to tell me, I'll figure that out on my own)
899 to go

but don't try to get them all, they're everywhere. Also I gathered up like 100 of them and ended up having to look up what to do with them, so in case you don't find out, here it is, as spoiler free as I can make it: Talk to Hestu, the big Korok guy, and he'll send you on a short quest. He's located on the path right after Kakariko Bridge, going northbound.

You'll all around just need 450 of em to actualy use them in game, the rest is a waste of time.

The DLC is worth it for the challenge, i got it for 30% off.
For the outfits? not at all.
The gear is also clearly made for end game use, but you can do most of it after every devine beast cleared and getting the master sword.

If you like RPGs, XBC2 and remastered and DQXI I as a third party choice. Skip Octopath, its shit.

If you buy the online for Smash, you get a load of free SNEs/NES games too.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is pretty good. If you don't mind 2D platformers, Rayman Legends is the absolute pinnacle. New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe too, if by chance, you haven't played a NSMB game before.

What do you have against Tropical Dong Freeze?
I also recommend Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Dong Freeze is the best. Really good game. Hard dong, too.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is also fucking great. Will second that.

Can also back up suggestions for Dragon Quest XI. It is one of the better ones and that series is the tops.

Just want to say that Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is the more overlooked game on the Switch so far. It’s actually pretty fun to play, and the story is engaging, as far as RPG elements go.
