Yeah, DVAU made his video about Apollo and never had another thing to say about Apollo for like a year and a half, until Apollo started calling DVAU a scam artist in the video about the TikTok editor. DVAU was long past thinking about Apollo.

No, because he was literally GamerGate. I've seen trannies posting "WE ARE LUCKY TO STAY ALIVE AFTER THAT" the next day after his death.

Finally caught up with a thread and if it's true, then it really sucks. I understand when people are taking their own lives, because they have terrible incurable disease, but this - speedrunning isn't even a 0,01% of the things in the world and even if it meant so much for him, I feel like one little conversation with someone might've stopped him. But there was none.

1) Both threads are locked. Both threads have the same mod sticky comment making it clear they're skeptical.

I can tell you right now, this really grinds my gears. Every single /r/speedrun thread that Apollo's name came up in, he was attacked relentlessly, most often called a nazi or white supremacist because he defended rwhitegoose, or blamed for letting Billy Mitchell "win". I'll give examples going back the past year, but this constant harassment and defemation has been going on for years, just search "Apollo Legend" on /r/speedrun.

Absolutely great compilation of the kinds of things under the hood at the speedrun subreddit. That place is a pit that's been allowing one-sided and nasty criticism of Apollo to fly for years, while heavily moderating and censoring wrongthink at the same time. You'd think rwrightgoose was He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named if you lurked there for any period of time.

Yeah, I'm not arguing that. However, it might give some context as to why he went after DVAU with the whole editor thing. I mean, the guy had to have felt burned because as you could see in the reddit thread people were still making implications he was a white supremacist.
As I said earlier, ascribing blame to anyone but the person who commits suicide is worthless, but I think this is all important context for why he blamed DVAU. As for Ezscape, I don't think it's nearly as cut and dry but apparently it's more of a perceived backstabbing there.
