Do we have any confirmation outside of Keem's tweet?
I have a hard time blind trusting Keem plus he didn't seem confident in the news sources. Though I have seen some new sites confuse Billy Mitchell and DarkViper as the same person so I don't blame him.

Is there any confirmation aside from what @Spectre_06 said? My impression was that Keem also initially doubted his tweet or was waiting for more confirmations.
I still find it hard to believe a police official would tell Keem they cannot provide this information outside of family, but then they go ahead and just do it anyway to some other person.
Also, is the police typically who would check whether or not the guy is still alive? I would assume they would get him an ambulance first, unless he went out quite graphic.

From @Spectre_06's own words the only reason they confirmed it with him was because apparently he was the the first or one the first people to actually give police in the area all the info they needed to check so they wanted to give him some type of closure on it. While keem was just saying how much he hated that one guy on twitter

Who called them when? They usually always tell family first, because they don't want to have them find out from a news story. So if Keem called them before they told the family that might explain it. Also, Keem might have come across as sketchy as fuck.

Well if he was ok with blaming youtubers for his suicide and letting them carry the guilt of a mans death. Then you would think that dropping Mitchell's name as reason for his increased debts wouldn't be an issue for him?
Unless... Unless Apollo had reason to believe that Mitchell's lawyers would file a defamation lawsuit against Apollo's family if he'd had said Mitchell was also to blame for him getting a PB in reaching the killscreen? He says in his last video that he feels terrible with leaving his family with his debts so perhaps doesn't want to give his family more financial strain? But I can't into law and don't even know whether that could even happen.
