Trashfire Apollo Legend suicide

This is a real shame.

His videos are mostly great.

I know he got shit for a lot of different things, but if we're being real for a second, the only reason he was despised by the gay speedrunning faggot community was because of his speedrun debunking videos. Everything else is just excuses & justification. The dirty secret of the speedtrooning community is that MOST of it is fake. It's as fake as the vagina many of them possess. Anyone who exposes fake speedruns too much starts getting targeted, people start digging into their backgrounds to find dirt. It's not everyone, some are pure and good, but the cheaters have a lot of control, and it's only backstabbing from fellow cheaters that gets someone pushed out.

TL;DR Speedrunning is fake and gay, very inspirational!

Plus they are a rather small charity yet the CEO alone rakes in ~300k/year (or ~5% of the money they raise per year), and surely they have other employees they need to pay (https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=5435).

To boot, several years ago (before GDQ got anywhere near as big as it is now) GDQ had a thread asking people what other charities they should go with besides PCF, but that got shut down the second PCF offered them a contract to host the event for them (which many believe is the reason GDQ has become so sterile, to appease their charities so they can keep their comfy contract).

tl;dr: GDQ's aren't doing anything illegal and everything about their salaries is pure speculation. HOWEVER, I could see how someone could assume it's at the very least "shady"

Charities are increasingly scammy even without middlemen. The South Park jab “you’ve raised $300 by spending half a million on filet mignon and crystal glasses” is completely on point. The splurge on so much shit there’s nothing left for whatever they’re supposed to be helping. And charity via donating by superchat is peak slacktivism. They don’t need the fucking hotels, but they want the vacation and sense of importance.

It's comically easy to fake a speedrun, and you really only get called out on it if you do a laughably bad job on it or if one of the gdq wannabe illuminati troons dislikes you.

Anything is safer then speedrunning trannies are. Weed can cause mental health issues and opiates are addictive and mess you up in other ways.

Yes, it is very easy for me to say from a position of comfort. It does not, however, change the facts. Dying is the easy way out, and not working through your problems makes you weak-willed. People who suffer through terrible pains and still manage to find some degree of self-fulfillment and happiness should be put on "pedestals". We, as humans beings, should want to live and survive no matter what.

Maybe you're a stereotypical nihilist (not you specifically, nigger), and you think that life doesn't really matter. I would agree with that, and dying now or later makes no real difference for those under the grave. Still, we should want to live and survive. Why? Who the fuck knows and who the fuck cares. Suffice to say, a happy, satisfied person often does not want to die for a reason, I would imagine.

Funny you bring that up, since in Dante’s Inferno the suicides skip a lot of the initial steps of going to hell. No “Abandon every hope, all ye who enter here” gate, no swarm of indecisive retards milling around outside, no demon who you have to wait in line for until it’s your turn to be picked up and chucked into the appropriate circle. You just drop right through the Earth into the outer ring of the seventh circle, where you turn into a tree in a forest of screaming, bleeding trees getting mangled by harpies for all eternity.

Looking over DarkViper's video and the comments section, it seems most people are concluding that DV was wrongly targeted by Apollo in his suicide note and it was a bad move on Apollo's part to namedrop DV.


Pretty sad his last ditch attempt to get at Viper once and for all seems to have come up to zilch.

I don't think there's going to be any more backstabbing or flame warring or drama. I think Apollo took himself out completely and gave everyone easy stories to wash their hands of the business. Personal wise, I'm sure this is going to give Ezscape and DV some headaches and feelings of guilt but that will probably pass with time since the majority seem to be supporting them

This is pretty pathetic from my view. Even in Legend's last moments he tried to get back at the dramafags and only ended up potentially making them look better and noble. The icing on the cake would be Viper or EZ starting a charity in Apollo's name which would completely demolish Legend from beyond the grave.
